I wouldn't say RR has dominated Central for the past 25 years. Central has won plenty of titles in the last 25 years, although the power shifts yearly between Central and RR the past 10 years.
Red River has won 8 of the last 15 titles. I would call that dominant. And it looks like they have a great chance to win it this year.

What is it that I said that is so controversial? Did I say I wanted the coach fired? I was showing how ridiculous it was for some fans wanting the head coach to be fired after one loss while he is in the midst of a great season... You sir are the one that is being the idiot... If you're going to attack someone please at least read what your attacking that person for... If you had any reading comprehension skills what so ever you would realized that we are basically in agreement... Come on Skippy...

I can't resist, the Fighting Sioux have gone a very respectable 17-7-2 playing the hardest schedule in college hockey and some Sioux fans want coach Hakstol to be fired because the lost one fricken game. Holy Cow!!!
Goon, your an idiot. If Hakstol left, at least 50 out of the remaining 58 college hockey teams would die to have someone like him coach their team. IT WAS ONE BAD GAME. If the Sioux win tonight 1-0, its still a SPLIT.

Hopefully Dan will go back to doing the ND State High School Hockey tournament again on KVLY. Him and Tim O'Keefe were a great pair and did awesome work. Scott Peters was brutal when he did it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Eids on Friday night to keep him involved. We'll need him down the stretch as the season wares on. Brad isn't going go anywhere, although I've heard hes trying to finish his degree early. Although if Gothberg comes in next year thats 4 goalies, talk about a logjam.

Good article on prospective recruit Josh Archibald (Jim's son). He mentions a possible visit to UND in the future.
Hope the coaching staff can get a committment out of him.

Is there a developing player issue right now with Danny Kristo? We better be careful before Montreal labels us the next Golden Gophers...I mean Jonathan Toews excepted.
But in all seriousness, is this still the right place for Kristo to develop? Is the style not suited to him? I always think of him being an ideal QMJHL type player; He had a great rookie year statistically, but this year the points just aren't coming.
Hanging out with TJ Oshie and living with him all summer certainly didn't help his development.

Pelnik is a big defensemen. May 1995 birthday and already listed at 6'4".
Had visits to Boston College, Notre Dame, Michigan, and Vermont, before picking UND.
Looks to be a very big pickup for the Sioux
