What does Grad Forks need a casino for? Their is a real good casino just an hour away from GF in Thief River Falls! That casino should do a shuttle bus program where it picks up people from GF, drives them there and brings them back.
A casino may bring jobs, but how well do most of those jobs pay? Grand Forks already has too many businesses that do not pay a lot of money, mostly retail and restaurants. The cost to buy or rent a place to live in GF has become very expensive compared to the area.
A casino would also bring in bad stuff like more debt to people. GF already has plenty of pay day loans shops and other similar places.

What point is that? This person has no point, just an ignorant and rascist article! Have you heard about how Tillman died? The second half of his platoon was ambushed and he died leading the first half in a counter attack. No one in the second section was killed or even wounded. Two men in the first half were wounded and Tillman was the only casualty. Tillman was awarded the Silver Star, I believe. If I ever see this Rene Gonzalez, he is going to regret it...

This is so disrespectful. It is one thing to be against the war and the actions of our government, but to take it out on our soldiers is just wrong. Pat Tillman did not order troops to Afghanistan, he just volunteered to try to make the world a little safer...

I think that sooner or later I will win the PowerBall lottery, whether that would be in a few years or in the distant future. Therefore, wouldn't it be better to start spending it now?
instead of spending the money, the state can just start paying you now! Maybe the people that always bring up the name change should pay for the removal of the Sioux logo from the REA...

7 Nation Army by the White Stripes is a good one to play! It gets the crowd into the game. Arenas play some wacky songs during games and the Ralph is guilty of it, too! There is one that they play that is jsut horrible; the one with the high pitched voice. I have no idea what song it is, but it sickens me to here it at a game...

May those people, with some of the most difficult work known to man, find the evidence needed to convict the culprit and help bring the culprit to the strongest justice possible under the law.
Well, considering they used genetic evidence against Rodriguez to arraign him, he is in deeper !@$! now...

My guess would be do to whatever "Crime" was committed, that crossing a State line could easily bring it into the federal courts, be it Kidnapping, Murder, or Dumping. Also, a small possiability is that she could have been found on Federal lands as well. There was a case a while back in Michigan where a guy killed and dumped a girl's body on Federal land here in Michigan and the case went to Federal court. If memory serves me, they where going for death but I think the guy made a deal and only got life. At least her body has been found, and now here family can put her spirit to rest, and start to move on in grieving for her.

It has already been stated that if the body was found in MN that Rodreguez could be charged in Federal court. That is good, that way they can give him the death penalty!

Now they don't know when the press conference will happen, if at all. If that is the case, why does WDAZ bother to cut into the hockey game? They had nothing new to say, and only repeated what they said before. To me that was totally stupid.
There are more important things then hockey. It is not WDAZ's fault that the press conference did not start when they were told that it would. And you did not miss anything...

Sounds like something worth checking in to. I was thinking of talking my mother into taking the family to Boston so we can go to the BC/NU games. My step father is from the Boston area so we could stay with family probably. Is the $789 for two people or per person?

I would go to both of them. It would be cool to see the Lakers in GF! Too bad the NBA had to screw us over! Was the Lakers game supposed to be the opening game for the Betty and a tribute to Phil Jackons? I like the T Wolves, but I would rather have the lakers here. Plus the Alerus is not a place that I would go to see a basketball game...

New Jersey is done, they might win the next game, but they will not beat Philly. Can Zach even play? Are the rosters not set before the playoffs and is Zach on that roster?
