Interesting note that we just heard about next year's expansion of the playoffs. I hadn't heard that before. Moving the championship game into January is slightly unorthodox. I know the bowl games go into January, but the teams that play in those games haven't played since the end of November (maybe beginning of December). I'm surprised they were able to make that kind of change.
