I'm listening to the streaming audio on FightingSioux.com and they're still playing pre-game. Maybe the gametime got pushed back when CBS College Sports picked up the game (totally speculating).

So I take it the CBS College Sports Broadcast is going to be tape-delayed rather than joining in-progress?

That's one of the most redundant statements I've ever read.

I think you should only get the power play if the goal is scored on a delayed penalty before the goalie leaves the ice. If the goalie is still on the ice then it's still 5-on-5. If he leaves the ice and you score with the extra skater, then you shouldn't get the powerplay because in reality you already got your power play goal.

Overall I'd agree with this but I thought they were very one-sided after that scrum. Hankinson's voice annoys me, though. But that's not his fault.

Blood didn't flatten a player in front of the net. They tangled up and the Gopher player can't skate, so he fell down. Blood did plenty AFTER that happened, but the whole scrum started when Frattin got pissed at Wehrs. Yea, Frattin should have had a penalty, and Blood should have, too, for what he did after the scrum started. But Blood didn't start any of it.

These FSN announcers are awful. They need to take their maroon colored glasses off. If they can't see that Wehrs taking Frattin into the net is what started the whole thing, then they're bigger idiots than I thought.

Apparently an appropriate response to a bump after the whistle is to swing your stick at the opposing player's head. I guess I learn new things every day.

That was a horrible call! That wasn't even close to a crosscheck. That was a Gopher dive.
