UAA scores 4-1 MSU now UAA scores again 4-2 MSU

You and me both. But if Denver is going to win, I'd love to see Kangas lit up. Not have the Pioneers just squeak by.
-
Gopher announcers complaining about the Gopher players not playing as well since coming back from the World Juniors. Should we look at Toews's stats after he came back?
-
Don't think so. They're talking about it as if he played last night, but isn't tonight.
-
Denver has their Swifts on tonight, too.
-
They debuted last season for these teams: Cornell, Denver, Maine, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, New Hampshire, North Dakota, and Ohio State I'm not sure if they were made available to any additional schools this year. http://www.insidecollegehockey.com/7Archiv...update_0513.htm Second article down.

Just bringing this back up to see if we can find a few more players. And for those already on the list, please let me know if you change your mind or if you aren't able to play for any reason.
-
I thought the WCHA only allowed use of the above-the-net camera when doing reviews. They just shows Sheppard reviewing this gopher goal and he was using all sorts of angles. Did they change the rule?
-
But he MUST know what he's talking about, just look at how he gestures with his hands constantly.
-
Ah, I missed him because USCHO has him listed as a defenseman.
-
Don't forget about Kaip.
-
That's what I get for turning the game off partway through.
-
For those who get Versus, you can watch Zach, Travis and the Devils against the Sid-less Penguins tonight. Game starts right now. Brian Engblom (sp?) singled out both Zach and Travis and two players to watch as they are the real deal. Zach is leading the team in goals and assists. He's looking for his 20th goal tonight.

So we should thank FSN for helping you diagnose the problem?

Sioux vs. Gophers, Saturday Night Game Thread

They should just do this and have the best of both worlds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_j9uudlDaY But given the option, I'll take the goals over the passes. -

Current Roster: Phats Phats' Brother Revolutionz Revolutionz' friend brianvf BigGreyAnt41 hrkac aleah (goalie) mksioux stuckinfargo Todd (ber818's husband) Yttrium Big Chief Fire Chartreuse Musky Killer There's the roster as it sits now. That's definitely enough to play, but would be nice to get a couple more. There are still a couple people that got PMs from me who I haven't heard back from. We've still got seven weeks. I'm sure we can scrounge up a couple more players in that time.
-
We'd still love to have you play if you're interested. Let me know if you want me to add your name to the roster.

The thing is, though, he does flop around like a fish. It's exactly what Gorg said after the game, and also said that's how he played when he was in the NHL. The comment was never made in a negative way, just a style of play. Bigger goalies can play a different style than small goalies. Fortunatly, he's very technically sound in his positioning and usually doesn't give up rebounds, but when he has to move from one side of the net to the other he ends up flopping a bit to make the save, which is almost always does successfully. It'll be interesting to watch Eidsness play since he's so much bigger than just about all the goalies the Sioux have had in the past decade.
-
I think that was mentioned on the graphic they showed on FSN last night. Minnesota counts some Pre-WW2 games that UND doesn't.
-
Even Gorg admitted that it would be possible for the Gophers have a seven game winning streak if they had the same schedule, but it wouldn't really be likely. It's true, though. We're leading (I think) the conference in penalty minutes. Sure, the team has a great penalty kill (88%+), but you still don't wanna be shorthanded. "BEHAVE" should be a key to every game.
-
THEN they went back and replayed the goal 3-4 times right before the end of the Sportscenter broadcast. They made sure to give props to Martens for the pass, as well. Buccigross (sp?) seems to be quite the hockey fan and lobbies for it a lot.
-
Freshman, #1 play on Sportscenter on a play that beat your #1 rival in overtime. Must be nice.
-
Talking about the Top Ten on SC again, the anchor said "...and a hockey goal you won't believe". Also, I think I saw a teaser of a possible Zach Parise goal. He's #9 for the Devils, right?
-
Sportscenter just did a teaser for the Top Ten plays of the day and played quick bits of a few of the "possible" plays, and Trupps goal was in there. I'm pretty confident it'll be in the top 3. I swore a little when the game went into OT. We should have won in regulation, but OT wins are always that much sweeter.
