I wouldn't not be against this at all. I would be for it, actually. It would definitely separate the fans who are there for hockey with the fans who are there to socialize and get drunk. Though, there would still be plenty of people getting hammered before the game and coming already drunk.

I saw him make the same play on a few occations. He would position himself to keep the puck carrier to the outside, but not actually make a move on the player or the puck. I would figure by his junior year he'd be able to do something more than that.

Personally, I thought every penalty called was legitimate. And if there would have been NHL refs, there wouldn't have been a single minute of 5-on-5 play. The stick work (hooking, poking, hacking) that these teams were doing was ridiculous.

The Gorge will come some day. Red Rocks is overrated, in my opinion, though I've never been there, so I can't really say. I've been to Alpine every summer since 03.

Well, it looks like we're gonna end up with a relatively short roster. Hopefully everybody that IS still on the roster shows up, otherwise we'll be in rough shape. Remember a couple things: White or light colored jersey. If everybody can wear a white Sioux jersey, that would be awesome. Everybody bring $10 to pay for the rink. Nice catch on that one! Yea, I'll be at Alpine, but won't be spending any extra money this year to go anywhere else. The only other places I've seen them are United Center (Winter tour 2002) and twice at the Target Center (Summer 03, Fall 05). Someday I'll make it out to The Gorge, but this year is not the year.

This game is ridiculous. Zacharais is playing way better than I thought he was ever capable of.

Yup, it will be the 2pm game. If UM wins their game, SCSU will be the #4 with Gophers at #5. If MSU-M wins, they'll be the #4 with SCSU at #5. Either way, the #1/#4 game will be evening, either because it has the Gophers in it, or because it has the #1 seed in it. (That's assuming UM wins Thursday) Did my rambling make sense?

Gonna have to open up this up again. We could use another couple skaters. If anybody knows anybody interested, let me know. Also, Team POI is wearing their maroon jerseys, so I think we go with white. If you have a white Sioux jersey, feel free to wear that, otherwise anything else light colored will work. I would assume most people have white sioux jerseys they can put on, if it fits over their gear.
