Lets first get facts straight: the Fargodome calls any game that sells 18700 or more tickets a "sell out". We both know that the Fargodome has close to 19k seats and a capacity over over 19k. Yes, Central Conn. and Austin Peay both "sold out". Notice how the previous 2 season NDSU was 10-1 and ranked very highly? Are those types of games going to "sell out" after 6-5 seasons? I guess we'll see. Taylor has 1 game left to schedule for 09, the 5th home game, which will be a non conference game. Tell me this: is there a single FCS team in the entire nation that isn't in the MVFC that would be a guaranteed sell out after a dissapointing 6-5 season and with Mertens still likely at the helm? There only three teams that could possibly be justified: Montana, Montana State and UND. Which of those three have an open date that matches our Sept. open date? Which team has said that it wants to play us? You can say that you're biased and that you never want to see UND in the Fargodome again. At least I can respect that as honest. But don't try to pull the wool over our eyes. Don't try bullsh*t like that.

Digger also defeated Rob Hunt's block and stoned Rod Malone in the hole in the same play on 4th down in OT for the UND win. That kid was nuts.

Bullsh*t. They did not sell out Indiana State. And certainly none of the Fargodome games had 19k+ attendance. As I said, only UND and SDSU are guaranteed to do that (maybe homecoming).

You're telling me if the Fargodome built the lower bowl of the target center as the new arena, that wouldn't work for bball or hockey? BS.

Every modern era NBA arena has the floor space for ice events. They use expanded seating to accomidate bball set up. I see no reason why the new Fargodome arena wouldn't be able to support ice events. 6500 seat hockey and bball arena attached to the Fargodome, on NDSU's campus sounds like the perfect set up to start a hockey program and something the WCHA would consider.

NDSU should only add hockey to get into the WCHA. WCHA would add them with Bemidji considering the new Fargodome arena.

Did NDSU and UND sell out every football game last season? OK then, shut up about not needing the game financially. It's a guaranteed sell out you can pencil into the books. No other game does that save SDSU and USD.

If this is the situation then I am forced to conclude that a felony criminal charge is rediculus. Obviously the city prosecuters have a hard on for charging football players and wanted to make an example out of him.

Don't be rediculous or downright dishonest. THe majority of North Dakota residients want NDSU to play UND in football again. And they'll just make a new Nickel when the name/logo changes.

Don't be rediculous, of course we should take advantage of the situation. New Fargodome arena could easily be made to support hockey and WCHA expanding. Simple matter of leadership on the issue.

Point being that NDSU would do fine in the WCHA.

Baptist won't ever be a target of the Summit unless it all goes to hell. We're trying to get rid of Cent., not add schools even farther south! Now if UVSU gets full membership, that could be a nightmare as SUU might want them in. But we gotta try to get rid of SUU, too far away.

USF has done well in football without a "history". I know you're going to say because they're in football talent rich Flordia. NDSU is close to talent rich MN and ND! No reason NDSU couldn't do as well as Saint Cloud or Mankato in hockey.

I'm doubting he did that kind of damage. You need a weapon to do that usually.

I would argue that unless your fists are registered as weapons that it's unlikely that you'll do enough damage hand-to-hand to warrent a felony.

Both NDSU and UND have a football team, correct?

The only way I see a guaranteed annual game is with UND in the same football conference as NDSU. But I think we could see that by 2012.
