1983 - he was a really good coach. I don't remember his background if he played college or not. I thought he had played in Canada but I could be wrong on that.

DaveK we have had our share of differences in the past but your post above is absolutly dead on. It is great to see other ND schools improvement in hockey as it will only make North Dakota hockey that much better. Wilson used to be my coach a long time ago at Red River and he was a great coach so it is nice to see him being successful at FS. Will the FS goalie play beyond HS? - I remember reading his story last year and thought that he sounded like a real class act. In fact, I was very happy to see FS win it last year due to his circumstances.

That is on-par for how the Gophs play this time of year.

Not to write this season off by any means but I am just a little bit nervous for next year as I am thinking O & T will be gone. We better win a lot of 1-0 games as I do not see a lot of scoring puch from the remaining group of players.

Where do I say the Lee lost the game - actually, I am defending him. One of the DU's early goals was a direct result of poor play by Lee. Other than that, i thought he played a strong game.

Actually I am ALWAYS hard on Lee but other than the 1 goal, I though he played a pretty good game. He broke up some plays that advanced the puck to create immediate opportunities. He was not the reason they lost. As some have said, it seemed they were satisified with a tie.

The last time I saw the Sioux on the ice with the Gophs, we kicked butt all over the ice for 120 minutes. I would love to p[lay the maroon and gold in the playoffs as we would be able to end their season once again.

Call me glass half full but I don't think we have the D-corps to make a late season run and I am not talking about Lee. We need to be able to break out much easier than we have over the last couple of weeks.
