Interesting that Gwoz was on the show. I don't know if it was a shot a us or not, but he had to throw Puke-a-bitch's name in there. Hak should have commented by saying, "How did Geoff do this year in training camp?" Good to hear that Trupper is coming along. Let's hope the boys can make it through Madison, so he can finish the season on the ice!

Since starting this thread, I have heard many interesting line combinations for our squad. Ironically, not one brave soul has come out and said: I LIKE THE MILLER, OSHIE, DUNCAN LINE!!!!!! I know we are all little rubes that don't have an ounce of hockey knowledge that our coaching staff have, but what do they see that we as fans do not? PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND!!!!! I am not trying to pick on Miller and don't think anyone needs to throw him under the bus, but IMO he is a 3rd line guy at best!! With Trupp back, I don't know if he should crack the line-up.

Radke and Zajac have to play! Darcy is a solid two-way guy and played very well last weekend. My guess is Trupper is out this weekend, but will be avialable if we advance to the FF. That said, lines will be the same as they were against CC. Jones is the most solid defensemen in our zone. He losses very few one on one battles! Lapoint is a good defensemen, but at this point in the season he is #7 on a extremely deep depth chart. We will roll 4 lines against the P-tigers unless we get down by a goal or it is close in the third period. I hope we cruise to a victory to keep the top two lines fresh for Sunday!

I don't understand how you can be a healthy scratch one week and on the first line the next. The fact that Dunc has scored only once in the last 10 games is very alarming. Too bad we don't have two #5's. Too valuable on the blueline, but he would be a great addition to the Osh/Dunc line. D.O.G.'s!

Sunday is a sure thing?

I have ESPN desportes, but not ESPNU available in Fargo. What a messed up PC world we leave in. Next thing someone is gonna want to change the Fighting Sioux nickname!

Saturday's game will be on everywhere. Sunday's game (if we make it) will be a little trickier. I have a call into the Fan Club to see if they will be showing the game on Sunday. I will post when I get more info. It would be great to take over that place on Sunday nite. It is a great place to watch sports!

That sounds good to me. However, I would rather see him score that goal with 8 seconds left in the second to go ahead by three with a final score 5-1. I don't think I can handle a nail biter against DU. They are way to lucky and have our number in the playoffs (aside from the WCHA first round)!

I would agree, but they have been held scoreless the last 5 games! Kaip is a great leader, we need him to step-up his play down the stretch like Porter did last year.

Not gonna happen, unless it happens midway through a game. Hak said on the Dan Hammer show that Miller is the best fit for the Osh/Dunc line. He said that last weekend he moved Kozek into the line when Miller was not showing a lot of speed. Miller has not contributed much on this line. When was the last time we heard Oshie from Miller or Duncan from Miller?

If Kangas keeps up with the roll he is on, he might not be there for 3 more years! I can see he and Bachman defecting early! As a sioux fan, I would like to see Bachman go this year and Kangas after his soph season.

It would have been nice to see Watkins with Osh and Dunc. The Kaip, VV, Watkins line has not been generating much lately. If you are gonna shake up a line, why not them?

I agree with all you have posted in regards to Kozek. Vande is the best as evident on the power play, but it is hard to put all you stars on one line. With Osh dinged, I think a guy that can do the dirty work in the corners is needed to take some pressure off him. Kozek, not Miller is that guy!

Just wondering who people think has been the best compliment to the Oshie/Duncan line. Who would have been a better fit? Hak said that Miller is the best fit for the line today on the Dan Hammer show. I personally don't see it. IMO Kozek has been the best fit. He can shoot the puck and brings a physical presence to the line.

Both were clean hits. Osh is still not 100%. Jess Meyers is an idiot if he thinks this is news worthy! All teams have fans that don't know the rules. Add beer goggles and the "homerism" comes out even more. Why can't we call diving, diving? Embelishment is just a waste of a syllable!

Yeah I heard he was with a bunch of bad apples and broke curfew!
