At this point, no. If I understand correctly every test is taking PPE away from where it is needed in hospitals in order to save lives and save our healthcare workers. At some point in order to beat this thing though, we will need much more aggressive testing.
-
No, because we don't have the tests. Unfortunately we aren't in one of the countries that got ahead of this with aggressive testing.
-
Did the us media cause the worldwide shortage on medical supplies?
-
Incorrect. How many do we not have results back on yet?
-
How would you suggest we deal with this now?
-
You realize we've reacted to this much more similar to Italy than South Korea right?
-
Did the media blow it up? Have you seen what is happening in Italy right now? New York?
-
You can spin the numbers any way you want to if it makes you feel better. But you cannot compare a year of deaths on one subject to three months into a pandemic. Remember the coronavirus numbers are in addition to the flu numbers. Have you ever seen NY hospitals as overwhelmed as they are now from the flu? We need to pay attention to how this has played out in other countries ahead of us. This isn't just magically going to go away so we need to stop pretending it will.
-
To think anyone wants the numbers to skyrocket and/or our economy destroyed is absurd.
-
It is strange and it would be nice to get some clear direction from the government, either our governer or our president. Since there are so many unknowns, at this point the only factual info we have to go off of is number of deaths that have happened in other countries. I'm afraid the only end plan ahead is to shut everything down before it's too late and this continues to spread further here. We know it's coming so why don't we pull the trigger now to get this over with sooner?
-
I wish the numbers could stay low, unfortunately it doesn't look like that's how this thing is going to play out.
-
Both Grand Cities and Columbia Mall in GF remain open.
-
I wish we could do that, I'm afraid we are going in the other direction based on the back log of tests in ND I've heard about. What's strange is why haven't malls and other non essential retailers where people are gathering been shut down? Why did the shutdown apply specifically to restaurants and bars? Not really fair to them to be singled out but allow the malls to stay open.

Remember when trump was bragging of West Virginia having no infections. This is what was really going on there.... https://apple.news/AYpuZFKrrSfmHh8FLzY-aww The extent some will go to defend how this has been handled by our government is disturbing.
-
Thing is, this isn’t about the election. This is about how our president is handling the pandemic.
-
Donald Trump, our selfless President.

Do you disagree with the mask policy on droplet precautions?
-
Disagreed. They have a very smart doctor right there and basic droplet precautions are being ignored. If you knew of someone with a pending test would you want to be in contact with them? Can any medical professionals chime in on hospital system policies for droplet precautions? This is our president!
-
You know this is being handled poorly when the vp is due to be tested because of exposure and standing directly next to the president and no ppe in use.
-
It could easily be argued Italy had a better defense than us against this, they are just weeks ahead of us in dealing with it.
-
Of course i do. So Italy could have been more prepared than us in testing? And were their people taking it as seriously as us?
-
At the same time our infection rate is now climbing faster than italy’s ever has. I urge many of you to see how this has played out in other countries, comparing measures taken, and consider what this could mean to US lives over the next several months.

If this is regarding hoeven I’m not saying he committed fraud. Rather his active investment strategy being a different message than that he poses politically...lacks integrity.
-
Ok not only ventilators. A number of medical supply companies whose products will be in high demand under the medical emergency we are under. And a number of companies that will likely be saved by the federal government to maintain and increase production.
-
Isn’t it odd the he invested 125k in ventilators but at the same time his message is to act on facts not fear and that we are a state of calm?
