  1. Miller feeds Bina out front and another chip off the paint on the crossbar>
  2. I was playing a little foos with the boy during period break and came back late. How'd they score?
  3. 2nd period will be different tonite. I hope. Genoway with a couple of great rushes on one shift, one where he skated through both teams and got a shot on goal. Unfortunately, at the finish he was pretty deep on what appeared to be his backhand, so didn't get a real dangerous shot off. I feel like the this game is teetering on the edge. Sioux seem to be having the better of the play, but Tech's getting some opportunities. I think the Sioux need to finish and see some reward for their hard work rather than have to work from behind again.
  4. Great work by Oshie, he carries the puck into the zone, and feeds an open Miller, who hits the post. Rebound comes out front, Oshie does a little spin-o-rama, picks up the puck, makes a move to get open and gets off a shot. I was sure he'd score, but Nolan got something on it. Great work by Oshie. Sioux will score soon if they keep that up.
  5. Good work by the VV line and great hustle by Forney causes Tech to take a penalty. If they didn't pull Forney down he was going to walk in with a good opportunity into the slot.
  6. Ice started to tilt a little the right direction before the stoppage. Sioux haven't been getting much sustained action in the offensive zone. Tech has jump. The way things are going you get the feeling it's very important for our team to get the first goal. Tech won't give up, but to have to play from behind again might be a killer.
  7. Finley was a little nonchalent passing that puck out of the zone. Result was a Tech player had time to get a stick and break up the clearing attempt (up the middle of the zone). Tech got 2 very good chances on Grieco who made the stops. Can't make these mistakes.
  8. To answer my question, looks like it was a message as the Oshie line started the game.
  9. Here's my take. Hak is looking for some intensity on the ice. Kaip has been quiet most of the year, but I thought he showed some spark last Friday in the 3rd period. He sits (lesson?) last night and Hak wants to see how he responds tonite. You can say some things about Radke but he does usually play with intensity. Fabian has also been quiet this year. Maybe Hak's asking that line to set a tone for the team tonite, and putting Radke on that line helps infuse it with a little "in-your-face". We'll see if that's infectious. I'm excited to see a few things changed up. I'm a cheap date. Doesn't take much to get me excited to watch a Sioux hockey game.
  10. Is Hak listing VV's line as #1 because they were solid as a checking line last night, and therefore starting the game against Tech's top line?
  11. I'll start ragging on our goaltending as the problem when we consistently score 3-4 goals a game and consistently lose. Until that time, when we score 0-2 goals every game and lose, a great goalie who steals a game is only going to make you marginally better. Score some goals. Play some D.
  12. Who you suppose bought them?
  13. That heart must be treating you ok then. Good to hear!
  14. phantom call on Jones. TH says replay show the Tech guy got his stick caught in the net, and Jones never touched him. Penalty called by Shep. Good call, Shep. Way to go.
  15. Big blocker save for Lammy on a breakaway. Keep it up, Phil!
  16. Which ended up with just more of the same
  17. Sounds like Phil made some good saves on that PK.
  18. The early one? I turned on the radio late.
  19. Who committed the UND penalty?
  20. That's because we don't look old.
  21. So was '81 or '80 or whatever year that was.
