Red seems to get more cranky all the time. I wonder how much of a competitive disadvantage / recruiting disadvantage that's becoming. Coaches are put in an enormous position of trust, and as an athlete I'd like a balanced view from my coach. Maybe there's reasons other than Mel Pearson's departure that Michigan hasn't made the NCAA's in a long time...

The first years of the WCHA Frozen Four in St Paul were awful, worse than what's going on at Target Center. The old Civic Center had crappy ice that was way worse than this ... Gino was just glad nobody got injured. The restaurants all closed before 5pm so there was nowhere to grab a meal before the games. Sightlines were awful... The key here is the NCHC has to step in an offer some leadership (okay direction) to Target Center. If after that, there's no changes, then I'd be in favor of exploring changes of venue.

I think the Committee will find a way to put BC and BU in different regionals. What with the frozen four in Boston ....
