16: left, still 3-2.
Long stretch with no whistle and no good chances, ending with a great 4-2 rush by the Sioux. Forney on the doorstep stopped by Regan.
Now Genoway off the post.
Bit of controversy. SC led 1-0 late in the 3rd, when a play the Huskies thought was blown down wasn't and Miami scored to tie it.
SC gave them all they wanted.
Woo - next year the Sioux play at the GLI.
That was announced on the Michigan broadcast ... still 0-0 at the Joe with 5: left. If it goes to OT, they play until its decided, the old fashioned way.
In Mpls, 3-3 after 2.
Tech and Michigan scoreless late in the 3rd.
Denver leading Dartmouth, early, 1-0
RPI leading CC 2-0 after 2. CC playing without 5 players.
1:30 left, 3-2 still
SOG 22-19, but we're getting the good chances, UNH with more long uncontested shots.
Doesn't seem to matter which line, we're getting pressure.
2: left, still 3-2.
On yet another transition, Lapoint (!) with a couple chances right in front of Regan.
This sounds like a broken record, but we are repeatedly beating them on transitions.
A bit of color for our colleague in the Persian Gulf.
Sioux are transitioning really well tonight. We're getting some 3-2 and 3-1 rushes but haven't converted (except for 1). The UNH goal came after a 3-2 shorthanded rush, and we just didn't get our coverage set before it was in the net.
Overall, we're looking pretty good. Especially for a Saturday.
