Well, it could have been worse. She could have been raped or even killed by a cop impersonator, which the latter occurred on the UMTC recently. I see these charges getting thrown or greatly reduced. This story is not funny, nor ironic. Those who think so are mentally and socially unstable.

The team will be fine. Haven't even found their grove yet and halfway through the season the team is in the top half of the conference standings with a relatively favorable second half schedule.

Well, they skated their "A" team, yet lost to an inferior team (on paper). It doesn't matter if it's an exhibition or conference game. They lost.

I guess the boyz forgot that winning is better than losing, regardless if if counts in the books or not. I don't expect this team to be playing deep into the playoffs. Talent? Skill?

North Dakota is better than Colorado. Red River Valley is beautiful in its own way. So flat it almost seems manmade.

having seen plenty of UND football and hockey players in the flesh over the years, I would say that the football team is without a doubt features the better athletes. For that matter BCS title contenders almost universally have a higher caliber athlete than NHL teams.
Also, traditionally the ratings for the Stanley cup aren't much higher than the FCS title game.

My buddy and I have a bet on every Sioux/Gopher game at the Final Five. The loser wears the winner's team jersey at the first game of the next year's tournament that the winner's team plays. Got that?
This year, Kenny would be wearing my Sioux jersey for the North Dakota/CC game. So, of course, he books a family vacation to Florida for THE WRONG WEEKEND and had to sell his tournament tickets this past week. Typical Gopher epic fail...
Request that he schlep one of your sweaters on the trip and have his photo taken with it on while in front of Epcot Center, or wherever.... Maybe with his kids and Mickey Mouse.

For those who have been believing all the garbage from the "UND Media Relations" about how things are going to be great, take a look at what we have now. Things will only get far worse next year as I cannot wait for those "surprises" in store for us. We were told to keep quiet about the picture quality and now this garbage happens without their knowledge. FCS has downplayed us since the announcement and the coverage will only get worse. The only folks to get decent coverage will be in the ND-SD-MN area around this joke of a cable company. Those fans outside of the area are screwed.
