Az St is a club team as are some of PSU's opponents this year (OK). The problem with adding a men's hockey team is that there's a Title IX legal requirement to also add a women's team & that's 2 added costs plus a rink that many universities don't want to compete with higher priority sports programs,(especially at the start when both might operate at a loss before attendance income increases for both teams). Unless they get donations like PSU & Alabama-Huntsville did to start & save their programs.

I tried to listen to the Vernon game last night & could only find the lineups from bchl.com. I wondered why Adam wasn't in the lineup since he wasn't picked for the tourney, but did find this article: http://www.theprovince.com/sports/BCHL+Tournament+squad+snub+sparked+Tambellini/7612599/story.html. We'll see how he plays with more help from his linemates.

Karl Goehring was 5-8, 160 & he did great as a fierce competitor. Like Gino told me on our mid-70's recruits, "Coop, it's the size of the fight in the dog, not the size of the dog in the fight".

Here's some intel on ND's leaning http://www.mlive.com/broncos/index.ssf/2011/07/top_recruit_says_notre_dame_ho.html. ND might watch both the NCHC & Big 6 (they cant be 10 with 6 teams! LOL) to see which league they want to join. Whatever they choose, they want 7, but if that league goes under 6 they lose the NCAA autobid. A fine line.
