Offensive pieces are there. SDSU played in space yesterday. Got NDSUs safety’s and LBs out of position and didn’t tackle well.
Defensively need to address to DL/OLBs. Both teams yesterday physically dominated us during the regular season and are the bar for winning championships.
My last takeaway is facilities matter. SDSUs investments into facilities that match NDSUs aligns with their ascent to consistent on field performance. Long process but they had a vision, found the financial support and executed.

Translation: in any kind of basketball, if you are reaching, hacking and hand checking all the time expect to pick up some fouls.
No one is arguing that. Refs just need to call it consistently both ways. Free throw discrepancy of 37-20 in favor of FU had little to do with physical play.

Can anyone there verify?Fairly accurate. Loudest FU person was Jory crying to the officials…….and it paid off for him.

when i saw the starting lineup i knew this was gonna up bad..............danielson as a point forward? did anyone at the heraldo ask why jalun sat the first 10 minutes? why nero in the first half off the bench but reid at the end...playing almost the entire roster? we almost had two 5 second calls bc our guy was dribbling the ball in the lane with his back to hoop like a 5th grade ybl kid not knowing what's going on...
and chaves needs to get his ass into that club room and the big donors and press the flesh...just sat there texting ...total joke
They must have asked the question in the presser after the game because Sather addressed it. Said they are the only team in the country right now playing 10+.

No one played well last night but not sure what #35 brought last night. Need more out of an extra year guy vs the strength of that team.

Big game today in Fargo.
Chance to make a big statement with a win.
Time to end the streak
Will be an uphill battle today but a win could draw them a ton of fan support in the back half of this season. After last night UND basketball fans are looking for something.

Both have issues, and both are on the same path (i.e., need change to take next step). You’re trying to keep this facade going despite you missing the big picture.
“Can’t talk to stupid people”.
Good night.
The next step for basketball is a hell of a lot different than the next step for football. Not even a comparison.

Yep, and nothing to cheer about. Attendance will be brutal rest of the year. Why would I want to go and watch this team again in person?
Likely last trip I make from Fargo. Just left.

He made one 3, but gave up 6 on the other end. Why keep him in?

Did you have the same opinion following the 2021 season, when they were solid defensively and struggled offensively?
And I believe they had 3 transfers on D that year.

BSU had 2022 All-Americans at WR, OL, and LB, not RB. The OL was a junior; the others were seniors.

Pretty telling that they didn't mention how it would be funding going forward, meaning there wasn't external funds raised. Just signatures. And we all know how good NDSU is at putting those together....
That is what I was thinking. Eventually it will come down to “we can keep it, but it will cost us”.
-
These NDSU cuts will be really interesting to follow. Going to be tough to get to what’s needed if you fold every time signatures are gathered. New president is in a very tough spot.

Great podcast per usual and felt they were right on with their assessment, which is the same as most of us have felt for a long time.
That being said I think they attacked the portal and this signing class pretty well so far. Really like the fact that we hit the lines really hard. And I don't remember having this amount of bigs on both lines coming in. We get a 245lb middle backer that can run and and and a head-hunting strong safety and we will be in business on Defense. Offense did a great job building depth. Like the trajectory...
Still think they need a plan at OLB

Some positive recruiting news!! Excited to see what he can do in Danny's offense!
This is the type of guy we thought our offense needed. Like adding another guy with experience.

I had to rewind it and I’m fairly certain the found was in Bjorklund.

Sucks but a pretty good opportunity for him to play in Lincoln.
