Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a little update since I am now living in the Detroit Metro area. I currently work at the airport and get to walk through the terminal every day. They already have a kiosk up in the central part of the main terminal (by the fountain, for any of you that know the airport) that is counting down to the 2010 Frozen Four. I'm sure the logo is online somewhere, but there is a picture of the logo and I really like it! But anyway, according to the countdown, 287 more days until the Frozen Four (I'm pretty sure that's what it said last time I checked). It counts down to the second. Good to see the host city is already advertising/getting involved.

I'll post what I posted on the facebook group: I think that camping out is a good idea... however I think that the 5 PM limit is a poor choice. I personally have camped out for Sioux Crew Frozen Four tickets and had a great time. All the fans in line got along very well. Those who really wanted to be there, were there. No one bought tickets just to jack the price up and resell them online for the profit. Get rid of the time limit and let people line up when they feel it's necessary. A way to get around people who have to go to class, go to work, or do other stuff is to allow groups of four (for example). Just say that at least one person has to be in line at all times, and all four must be present to purchase the tickets on Saturday morning.

Just a question... who does the Olympic Men's team play for "warmups"? I read that the UND Women's team will be playing the Women's Olympic team... does the means team also travel the country and play college teams or is it because there are fewer women teams to pick from?

The final score last night was 4-2, however the last goal was empty net, so the Aces were right in it the whole time. After being down three games to one, they certainly didn't give up. I found Lamoureux's stats for the season over on the St Louis message board, where they are very interested to see where JPL is going to end up, they're hoping in Peoria. I hate to try and bring this back to topic... but I was at the Hawks/Wings game last night and was able to stand down on the glass during warmups. I was able to get a few pictures of Toews and as soon as I find my camera cord I will upload them and attempt to share them. Although I just moved, so my cord could either be in Wisconsin or here in Michigan... but I'll get around to it as soon as I can.

Guess who has two tickets to game two in Detroit? I'm very excited to see Toews play again!!!

Looks like I picked the right time to move to Detroit NHL Playoffs with Toews, Frozen Four next year... so far, so good!
