I want to see a Friday night vs BU start to this game...we don't necessarily have to score 5 goals in the first but I'd like to see them playing like their hair is on fire!

And remember, we are all best friends!

Maybe the game has changed but the days of Sioux hockey playing right up to the edge are a distant memory. Teams were known for their toughness and grit and I just don't see that anymore. Talking about recruiting for the Sioux, someone once said that toughness is a SKILL. We definitely don't see that anymore. Turn back the clock to the Matt Greene teams in the early 2000's...nobody wanted to play against those guys because they knew they were in for an all out war and probably a pretty good beating. End of rant. F*ck!

I remember that game very well…my youngest son’s first time at the Ralph and he got a puck during warmups. Oh yeah, and lots of fireworks that night.

I think I saw that his NHL winning percentage with Boston was .715...not too shabby.

Well, Brad usually has the first thing covered (top 3 in conference) but he's a little light in the successful national tourney department.

But what about the regional in Fargo?

It was just unfortunate his stick broke but it happens. Simply was curious if he skated off or picked up a new stick on the fly to try get back into the play. Yes, in hindsight he probably should have just tried to slow down one of the DU guys on the rush.

I thought our effort was much better than Friday; unfortunately we end up with the same result. DU’s forecheck was noticeable throughout; they even had good pressure on UND when they were on the PK. Howdy Doody for DU is a hell of a coach.

Need to quit taking stupid penalties…especially after the whistle.

Only problem with that is winning 5 of the next 6.

DU outplayed Sioux in every facet of game except for taking penalties.
