From an article in late February... The Frozen Four will be played at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, the home rink of the NHL’s Penguins, on April 8 and 10. Help me out here...UND was playing New Hampshire? one year in the opening round and the regular season lacrosse game between 'who cares' and 'I don't give a sh*t' went into multiple (4-5?) overtimes. By the time they joined the live hockey action I believe the game was in the second period. To make matters worse, UND gives up a goal with less than a second remaining and then loses in OT.

This was the Trupp highlight I was looking for initially...was fortunate enough to have been at this game!

If you watched the selection show, Starman was all about players, stats, who had good special teams etc. Bucci was all about "it's going to be a great jersey game" between LSSU and UMass. I mean he literally adds nothing. Melrose knows hockey but he sounds like spends about 10 minutes before the game reading over the players names and then just slaughters them during the action. College hockey needs more guys like Starman and Ben Holden. End of rant.

Right! Comcast sports package for me does not include ESPNU anymore...moved it up to the next tier package a few years ago. I mean why would you want to have a college sports station in the sports package?

Yeah, but it isn’t just this year...it’s every year. I liked it better when the games were carried by local Fox Sports affiliates...at least you had announcers who knew the teams. I’m not sure why ESPN carries these games; just to bury them on channels that a lot of people don’t have. (ESPNU, ESPN News)

Seemed like the Shore's that played for DU were all there for 6-7 years.

I think AIC is going to be a solid team. This is a good opening round opponent for UND, especially for getting some of our injured players back in the mix. They dominated their competition and won the regular season as well as the playoff title. The Sioux should be able to take control of the game with their depth and explosiveness but they cannot just show up and think theyre going to win. #StCloud
