    Fall Camp

Do we know yet if everyone that was expected has shown up for fall camp? If anyone is out there watching the team over the next few weeks, please provide your thoughts.
  6. Probably not going to happen for us, Wade has picked up offers from IA, WA St and TCU in the last few days!
  7. SU is off to a great start - they have gotten some very talented kids thus far! Unfortunately, we wanted some of them!
  8. 92,96 - what can I use for the "source" of the Grady commitment on Wiki?
  9. I would guess that means he won't be with the team - disappointing!

    Jordan Hinojosa

We welcome you to the board and your son to UND/Grand Forks. As others above have indicated, we are very pleased to have Jordan on the team and look forward to great things from him. Please continue to post!
  11. All offers are conditional based upon the situation at the time when the player wants to make a commitment. After a commitment is accepted, and if there is no further need at the position, the other offers are normally withdrawn.
  12. Brown has verballed to the Bison.
  13. Another offer: PF Dean Wade, 6'8”, 215, Saint John (Saint John), KS (3 Star - Rivals) Has offers from Boise St, Evansville, KSU, OR St, USD, UTEP & Wichita St
  14. Attendee at yesterdays' Elite Camp: WR Christian Phillips, 6’5”, 185, Winnipeg (Garden City Collegiate), MAN

    Elite Camp

UND's second (and last) Elite Camp is tomorrow. If anyone has access to the list of attendees, please post. If anyone attends, your observations would also be appreciated. I suppose this is due to NCAA regulations but I am surprised that we can't even provide lunch to the participants. Here is an overview (edit - not sure why it copied this way): Saturday July 26th 10am - OL/DL/Specialists Registration 10:30am - Stretch/Testing 11:30am - Position drills with UND coaches 12:30pm - 1 on 1 drills 1:00pm - Camp Closing 1:30pm - Skill players registration 2:00pm - Stretch/Testing 3:00pm - Position drills with UND coaches 4:00pm - 1 on 1 drills 4:30pm - Camp Closing Meals are on your own but there will be food/drink for purchase at Memorial Stadium Facilities The UND Football Camps will use a number of facilities across the beautiful University of North Dakota campus. Campers receive full use of Memorial Stadium, the turf field practice home to the UND football program, along with the Memorial Stadium weight room and meeting rooms. Camp Gear All campers should wear or bring appropriate training gear (T-shirt, shorts, socks, shoes/cleats, sunblock, mouth guard etc). Extra spending money for snacks/water bottles, etc. may be helpful. OL/DL will be a half padded camp (helmets and shoulder pads). Helmets/Shoulder pads will be available for rent from UND for $20 payable via cash/check. All other positions will be non-padded. Quarterbacks are encouraged to bring their own football. Registration Walk-ups are still welcome at the first day of camp. Make all checks payable to University of North Dakota. Canadian residents must pay by credit card or by check/money order DRAWN ON A US BANK, or U.S. currency. Refunds The University of North Dakota allows for no refunds due to personal injury, tournament of any kind, other camps, vacations, etc. Please contact camp director Jordan Gigli at Jordan.gigli@athletics.und.edu for more information. Health Care Each camper must be covered by their own accident and medical insurance. UND will provide an onsite certified athletic trainer for each camp. The Camp Consent Form at the top of this page must be completed before a camper can participate. An insurance carrier and policy number must be listed on this form.
  16. When do the ladies arrive on campus for the start of fall camp?
  17. The offers keep coming: SF Admiral Schofield, 6'5", 220, Zion (Zion-Benton), IL Has offers from Green Bay, Milwaukee, LIU, Niagara & Ohio Average 18 ppg as a junior, supposedly shot 78% from the field (I doubt that is correct) and 80% from the line.
  18. New offer: SG Adam McDermott, 6'4", 175, Cedar Rapids (Xavier), IA I believe Adam is Doug's cousin/Greg's nephew. He was 3rd team all-state last year, averaging 16.5 ppg. He has had DII offers from Truman, Sioux Falls, Wayne St & Mary but recently was offered by UNC.
  19. Who has seen Boike play? Thoughts?
  20. Averaged 16 & 6 on a 34-3 team as a junior. Shot 56% on 2's, 43% on 3's & 76% from the line.
  21. Ryder is from Boulder but is enrolled at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL for his Jr. year. Preferred hockey until just a couple of years ago (when he reached 6'4").
  22. I made this comment in sort of a negative manner last week but we are now up to 16 offers (that we know about). After thinking about this, I don't have a problem with this many offers in that I assume we are sitting down with these kids, enlightening them about UND, etc. That is much different than readily offering scholarships to FB players you haven't met yet (other than maybe a phone call). It appears we are going after some talented prospects based upon the level of interest from other DI programs. Hopefully, we can land a few and then continue to get a couple of talented freshmen each year.
  23. I agree - there must be some new connection to CA. I hope these kids give us serious consideration - ND is a long way from home!
  24. It is sure nice to see that 240 wt.- we need to find some big bangers at the PF position. He is listed at 6'9", 250 on some sites. Averaged 15 and 10 as a junior.
