  1. UND and N. Kentucky were the first to offer Gibson. Very recently, he has picked up offers from IL St, USD, NDSU & UNO. He is apparently playing very well on his AAU team.
  2. We are looking at Joe Rosga, a 6'2" SG from Rogers, MN. He averaged 17 ppg as a junior.
  3. All/any of the above!
  4. Cole Murray, a 6'9" PF from Rogers, MN is visiting campus this weekend. He averaged 16 pts and 9 rebounds as a junior. He is playing for the Minnesota Comets AAU team.
  5. Hall is a 2014-2015 prospect - we have reported this offer under that thread.
  6. Has this been confirmed to the degree that we can add him to Wiki? He was listed as 6'4" and 143 lbs as a junior. Sources have him at either 6'7" or 6'8" now but I can't find a weight anywhere?
  7. I will ask this question again. What are limitations (if any) regarding the number of recruits in each year? Isn't there a limit of 25 scholarship players? Is there a limit on walk-ons?
  8. New offer: SG Tyler Hall, 6'3", 175, Rock Island, IL Has grown 3 inches in the last year, had a good junior season but has apparently really come into his own in AAU ball since the HS season ended. Has offers from USD, Montana St, N IL & Fl Int'l.
  9. You mention the fact that many of these guys didn't have other offers. The fact is that a limited % of all signees in recent years had other offers. I am sure that the following stats are not totally accurate but this was the "known" status at the time of the signings: Year Signees Other Offers 2011 23 6 2012 24 5 2013 24 6 (I can't get the proper spacing!!) In many of the last few years, there has been a lot of excitement over our signing classes. I haven't wanted to "rain on the parade" but I have been following UND recruiting and recruiting in general for many years. There are some good prospects each year that don't have other offers but, as a rule, there is normally a good reason (talent, size or attitude) that kids don't receive offers - I think this is a major factor in our recent lack of success on the field and the large turnover of players. In Bubba's first class, 14 of the 25 signees had other offers. Offers are more publicized now than in the past but I really don't believe there is much credence to an argument that this is a major factor in the larger number this year. Despite the late start this year, I believe we are certainly headed in the right direction! Again, don't get overly analytical of the exact numbers - I am sure they are not totally accurate but they do tell a story!!
  10. Isn't there a maximum number (30) of recruits that can be brought in any year? Losing so many players at semester break and now a bunch more, aren't we going to go into the fall with many fewer bodies than usual - creating a real challenge with depth?
  11. We just offered Jared Dixon, 6'2", 155 PG from Lee's Summit, MO Has offers from UNC-Greensboro & Drake
  12. Thanks, Ham - I will get these listed on Wiki later this evening!
  13. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we had already offered these two. Your sources are normally very reliable - I will update Wiki.
  14. You are correct - he was on campus before leaving. That makes sense as he was a '12 recruit - had he gone straight to JC, he would have played his second year in 2013. That was the year we signed Galloday, Oliver and Fletcher. I think there was another WR who commited but didn't sign - don't remember his name.
  15. We are looking at three more JC kids: S Dondre Wright, 5'11", 205, Roswell (NM Military Inst), NM CB Marlon Dobbins, 5'11”, 175, 4.5, Pasadena (Pasadena CC), CA Has offer from ID St WR Zach Oliver, 6'3”, 205, 4.5, San Jacinto (Sab Jacinto CC), CA I haven't confirmed this yet but this may be the same Zach Oliver that committed to us in 2012 but did not sign. Same size, 10 lbs heavier - Omaha Burke.
  16. Anyone know if there were any potential 2015 recruits in attendance yesterday?
  17. Why would you ask that question? Of course not!
  18. Donation to the hockey program or the UND athletic department?
  19. Price commited to MSU yesterday!
  20. Offeree PG Tyrone Taylor, 6'3", 165, Grandview (Grandview), MO apparently didn't have the grades for DI and will attend Hargrave Military Academy (prep school). He supposedly wants to go to Texas after that!
  21. New offer: PF Quinn Price, 6'9", 205, Casa Grande, AZ Edit: He averaged 15 pts, 10 reb, 4 BS, 55% FG. Also received offer from Montana St. this week.
  22. You are correct - this thread should be for next year's recruiting!
  23. Although likely not pertinent, I don't recognize any of the names as players we recruited out of HS.
  24. If this is fact about him handling the situation so poorly in Minot, I am no longer in his camp. He got screwed over but, as mentioned above, I now think he only came back for a big check that will entice him to "go away"!! That in itself wouldn't be so bad if it didn't adversely affect so many people!
