I see we are again looking at Oscar Opara, the CB out of De LaSalle who went the JC route out of HS.

If so, that would likely mean that no one else has interest in him. This is June, he wouldn't likely be waiting for a decision on Nash (which may not be made anytime soon) if he had other options. Probably not a good sign!

I hope this means she is making a full recovery!

Wiki has been updated - nothing major, just a few additional prospects in which we have an interest plus some new offers (from other schools).

Our ladies are going to play in the Pre-Season NIT this fall. First Big Sky team to be invited since 2009 - very cool!

I wouldn't argue with any of your projections. There certainly are a bunch of new names!

Our softball coach, Eric Oakley, resigned today. I wondered if he was pressured or if he just realized what a huge task it is putting a competitive team on the field. Yes, I know SU has a very good program but let's not get into that conversation here like we do in all the other sports!!

Leach averaged just under 16 last year (25 minutes/game): 55% FG (very good), 38% on 3s and 72% from the line. Must not be very physical - only 21 fouls in 30 games. Good assist:turnover ratio. While it appears that Leach could be a contributor, I sure wish we could find someone to help at the 4!

Another new offer: PF Brady Ernst, 6'8", 215, Clinton, IA. Averaged 17 & 10 as HS junior. Has offers from UNI, USD, San Diego, Drake & Lehigh.

New offer: PG Cortez Seales, Eldridge, IA (Quad Cities area). Great size for a PG - 6'4", averaged about 17 pts and 6 rbds while earning first-team all-state honors. Has offers from W KY, UNI & Drake

UND and N. Kentucky were the first to offer Gibson. Very recently, he has picked up offers from IL St, USD, NDSU & UNO. He is apparently playing very well on his AAU team.

We are looking at Joe Rosga, a 6'2" SG from Rogers, MN. He averaged 17 ppg as a junior.
