Do you believe that he does his own taxes? For an individual like him, and his multiple business entities and dealings, there are probably a couple full time accountants that handle that side of things. You think that Donald has direct communication with the IRS? No chance. What does Trump own in his own name? I suspect next to nothing. The same is true for Mark Cuban or Oprah WInfrey, or any other successful person with their hands in a ton of businesses. They don't have time to be doing their taxes. They have multiple entities to protect them from liability. They have a team that is told to utilize every tax break possible.

Fargo going that way, western ND schools planning to go full in-person learning in October.

Long story short, without a ton more information it is not possible to say that the transaction was inappropriate. The transaction was reported by both parties, and reported as income to Ivanka.

Current Presidential Odds: Trump -110 Biden -120 If you're bored, look up the prop bets for the debate, they are hilarious. One that is oh so telling... Who will CNN declare the winner of the debate? - Biden -700 Who will Fox News declare the winner of the debate? - Trump -700 Parlay those two bet and put down every penny you can come up with. There is no chance either loses.

For anyone who is knowledgeable on the subject, how did things de-escalate after the Kent St. shooting and the turmoil of that era? From what I have seen and read, that seemed like a complete tinderbox ready to blow. Tin soldiers and Nixons coming...

Like with most things, the amount of the debt is irrelevant without context. Amazon is about 25 billion in debt. Apple has around 110 billion. Having a bunch of debt can be a real bad thing or a really good thing depending on many other factors.

Do you think that Trump, or any other high net worth business owner for that matter, does their own taxes? If you take any individual who is very wealthy and owns multiple businesses, you'll be able to find issues which are questionable (or open to debate) on their taxes. There is a ton of gray area in the tax code. I guarantee that he has his accountants do all the work and tells them to do what they can to minimize has net tax obligation. It's no different than any other person I know, or folks filing taxes with a W-2 who qualifies for the earned income credit. If the tax benefit is there people are going to take it.

This drives me nuts. The reporter asks an incredible stupid and condescending question. Every part of the question would fall under the legal objections of assuming facts not in evidence, lack of relevance, and being argumentative. It would be like a reporter asking Berry, "When you get swept by the gophers, will you peacefully leave the ice?" I hope in that situation Berry would also give a flippant answer. Then the left leaning media outlets spins it into something that simply didn't happen. This is all the children's story about crying wolf. When everyone is a racist, no one is a racist. We're so numb to the name calling and labeling that it has no impact anymore when it is actually warranted.

Absolutely not, I’d prefer to not lose my house. Personally I don’t see the point of most of the testing that is being done. I just don’t like the overreaction to the reported positive numbers without any context.
-
The 6-8% seems to be the results. Not sure why that isn’t within a standard deviation of being representative of the general population. Being that most are completely Asymptomatic makes it more likely to be true. In a state by state comparison some are doing better than others as far as their percent of positive tests. SD has an worse percentage, ND is about average. Nebraska seems to be doing very well. Statistically the higher testing states would have the most positives if the same % of the populations in all the states were positive. ND is high in both, which makes sense.
-
It doesn’t result in more actual people having it, but it does result is a higher reported number. If we tested 100k North Dakotans tomorrow there would probably be 7000 positives. That doesn’t change a thing from a perspective of the health of the State today. There would be the same hospitalizations and the same deaths.

You need both data points to draw any conclusion. It’s like saying I scored 1,000,000 points in a pinball game. With no reference it’s impossible to say it’s good or bad. The data indicates that ND is high on the first list only due to the high number of tests. The same can’t be said for SD.

(3) tough games against a team fighting for their playoff spot (Reds). If the Twins win 2 of the 3, the White have to go 3-1 to tie, and they have the tie breaker. Big game between the Sox and tribe tonight. Cleveland has the easiest schedule. A 3 way tie could be on the table going into Sunday.

If the post-season were to start today it looks like they'd get the Yankees. I wonder how that would turn out... A win today should put them in pretty good shape with the remaining schedule and days off.

Cave pushes a bunt to the left side today for an easy hit. He was up in the ninth yesterday with a man on first, nobody out, down by two. Defense was completed shifted around. Why in God's name do you do the push bunt today and not yesterday when it was so obviously needed and appropriate. I really don't get Rocco's decision half the time.

“I like people who weren't captured," Trump said at an Iowa summit during his presidential campaign in 2015, adding, "I don't like loser.” This is the quote from a recent article. It completely misstates, as usual, the context of the quotes. The two quotes were not in the same discussion. Trump stated that he donated and supposed McCain in his run for president. That was the context for the loser part. He called him a loser in the context of losing a presidential election.

The article you posted had ZERO evidentiary basis. ZERO. Just like reading the headlines that Trump told people to drink breach or commit voter fraud. They are completely false. Unfortunately you can't trust the headlines (both ways). I prefer to actual consider something based on what actually was said, not based on the right guy or the left guy's spin on what was said. Maybe if the media (both ways) reported what actual happens instead of their opinion about what and why something happened, there would be less confusion and division.

Really in pretty good shape considering the injuries and general lack of production. I'd say only Cruz, and maybe Sano and Polanco have met or exceeding their expectations for the season. Plenty of room for improvement offensively.
-
Here's the actual quote, yet this gets spun into endorsing voter fraud. “They will vote and then they are going to have to check their vote by going to the poll and voting that way because if it tabulates then they won’t be able to do that. So let them send it in, and let them go vote. And if the system is as good as they say it is, then they obviously won’t be able to vote,” Trump told WECT News. “If it isn’t tabulated, they will be able to vote. So that’s the way it is, and that’s what they should do.”

How has he specifically justified the "right-wing thugs"? His words, not the recaps. Every clip I've seen from Biden and Trump condemns the violence. Trump won't specifically condemn the violence acts of the "right-wing thugs" and Biden won't condemn the violent acts of BLM and antifa.
-
It's like the kids game of telephone. Trump says something off the cuff that is kinda goofy or weird. It gets passed through multiple iterations of media/social media... and all of a sudden he told people to drink bleach or some other completely untruthful spin on the original statement. I find it odd that Trump and Biden are doing the exact some thing concerning the unrest. They both "bothside" the violence and don't specifically denounce the violence by the fringes of the left and right respectively. The left jumps on Trump, and the right jumps on Biden, but they are both saying literally the exact same thing.

On average, the pro-mask mandating, shut the economy down crowd score nearly 4 times as high on the naricissistic personality inventory than folks on the, masks are pointless, we need to open everything group.

The split second decisions they need to make are vastly different. The police are in an absolutely no win situation. The video posted with the stopped motorist shooting at the officers is illustrative. If they had used a gun instead of a taser there would be riots in the current environment, although the shooting would be considered appropriate. In the last few months the police deaths outnumber the “bad shootings.” What is an officer to do when a known violent offender is resisting arrest and activity trying to get into/reach into a vehicle for an unknown reason? I’m glad I’m not in their shoes. Personally, I’m a big fan of when in doubt tase the guy before things get out of hand, although there can be bad outcomes on both sides using that approach as well. Easiest solution is to comply and avoid the whole situation to begin with.

It's not my hospital curve. That was the narrative from all the experts and politicians on both sides. We absolutely have sufficient capacity, I don't think that is a concern for anyone anymore. Covid sucks for a pretty defined demographic. So have alot of other things for various demographics. I don't think it's acceptable or not acceptable, it just is.
-
Temporarily? How so? Is anyone not receiving the medical treatment they need? Flattening the curve simply spreads out the cases to make sure that anyone who has medical issues with Covid can have the best possible medical care. In theory that would reduce the deaths, but in no way reduces the total that contract the virus.
