How do they gauge the number of viewers?

I think the band adds a lot to the atmosphere at the Ralph. We took our relatives to the Notre Dame games over Thanksgiving in 2010 and without the students and the band being there, I told them that they were not getting the true experience.

And will they be a downer for the team the first game wearing them? As a fan, it will be for me.
