  1. Me neither. Gillies is just as good as Zane. Providence has improved a lot since coming to Grand Forks earlier in the season. Plus that Mark Jankowski is no longer injured for them. @cberkas: True, it'll be interesting to see what they decide.
  2. Yep. I get the same. Our first opponent next weekend is going to be either Michigan(if they win) or Providence.
  3. Wisconsin? They had it last year didn't they?
  4. Boston University took care of business. They had no problems getting up to play this weekend. Regular season champs and conference playoff champs of Hockey East. Guess they didn't get the memo that this weekend had no meaning? Yep, I am still a little bitter over how this weekend went.
  5. After the results this weekend, I think it's pretty damn fair to not have 100% confidence that they will. After how they played, there should be some concern. None the less, I'm going to be sitting in front of the TV and cheering this team on next weekend and hoping that they will bounce back. But I'm not going to pretend its all rainbows and sunshine.
  6. Yeah. Don't get that either. Talk about throwing a kid into the fire who is no where close to actual game shape.
  7. Whioux? That team on the ice is unrecognizable.
  8. There is the dagger to top off what has been a horrendous/disastrous weekend. Next weekend is not looking good. The apologists can spin it all they want but something is wrong. You'd think this team would be able to overcome adversity. Time to right the ship might've run out...I'll be hoping for the best in the regionals but this team has no life.
  9. I was going to say, I feel bad for the fans who travelled to Minneapolis to see this. Absolutely brutal.
  10. So looks like we are getting another piss poor performance.
  11. No kidding. One man doesn't make a team. MacMillan said it himself. Sounds like someone is having a built-in excuse ready to use. UND can beat anyone. ANYONE. They have to get their collective !@#$ together. If they do that, I know this team can go far.
  12. True but with the way your offense has been scoring, I think Miami can face anyone and win.
  13. Grats on the win. Miami's offense is scary good when it's clicking on full cylinders. Good luck against St. Cloud tomorrow.
  14. So it is indeed Denver tomorrow...nothing like playing a rival in a third place consolation game. Both teams need it to have good vibes going into tournament.
  15. Looks like we'll be playing Denver tomorrow. Not going to be an easy game by any means. UND needs to rebound though. DU scores so it is 4-2 Miami now...hah
  16. But nothing to show for it either. I'm playing gfhockey's game of hardware counting. He won't acknowledge that Blais doesn't have anything since leaving UND. UNO fans are getting restless too.
  17. You are now just rambling useless crap that everyone knows. What has Blais done at Omaha? Your inability to answer a simple question is amusing.
  18. How many national championships does Blais got coaching Omaha? Quit deflecting troll. It's a simple question! Why can't you answer a simple question? Quit living in the past. Your buddy Blais has done nothing since leaving UND.
  19. Oh really? Tell me gfhockey, what has Blais done since leaving UND? Simple question. Oh yeah, he hasn't done jack !@#$ at Omaha. Now go crawl into your hole where you always come out of when UND loses a game.
  20. Those 2 goals by SCSU in the final minute of the first ended up haunting UND. SCSU absolutely clamped down after taking the lead. You could tell they wanted this win more. Man, another friggin bummer. Very disappointing.
  21. 2 goals, 20 seconds apart under final minute of period....yikes... SCSU's second goal was the result of a bad sequence of events by UND. Brutal watching how that second goal happened.
  22. Good post, Mariucci. I agree with you. I'll go as far as saying that Minnesota doesn't have total fault for the position they are in. Big Ten's horrid overall OOC record isn't doing any team a favor in that conference. Yes, you can go with the "just win" argument but that's easier said than done. There was/is very little room for any team in the Big Ten to stumble. I only see Minnesota getting into the tournament.
  23. Vermont beats BC 1-0. Talk about fighting to keep the season alive.
