NCHC parity.... Disappointing weekend, no doubt about that. I'm sure Denver felt the same when they were swept by UND and SCSU in back to back weekends. Things are clicking for them now. Maybe UND will have a chance at having the last laugh. UND has to rise above the setback. Duluth is going to be wanting points next weekend just as much.

Need a better D effort from everyone overall. It was atrocious tonight and Denver reaped the benefits. Pretty disappointing. Goes without saying, defense needs to be way better tomorrow.

Which tells you how mediocre Minnesota is. They should be able to beat Ohio State with ease yet all the games they've played against them this season have been close wins that required OT.

So I'm confused. How is the OT between BC and BU, 20 minutes? I thought OT was always 5 minutes? Or is it allowed to be different for tournaments like the Beanpot? Not that it matters since BC wins it in under 5 minutes lol.

Ok, that definitely makes it plausible. I don't think the WCHA is viable for UAH in the long run.

Rutgers is a member of the Big Ten...if they made a jump to DI hockey, they'll be playing in the BTHC. Also, UNH as in New Hampshire moving from the stable Hockey East to a imagination CCHA? That New Hampshire? Yeah, I don't see that happening either if so. Agreed on the NCHC not taking those AHA teams. They'd invite Mankato and Bemidi before that. Only way I see the NCHC adding new members in the short term is if ASU joins and the NCHC looks for a 10th member such as Notre Dame or BGSU to assuage Miami and WMU as you allude to.

Minnesota filled themselves up plump beating fellow Big Ten creampuffs. Right when they step out again to play a non-conference foe that is competitive, they lose.

Good bounce back after last nights faltering. Good to see other players step up and put points on the board. With that said, hoping Schmaltz and Caggs return sooner than later.

I'll agree to disagree. The errant pass to the CC player who was coming down the slot in OT was also bad. Hrynkiw came up big and made the save fortunately.

Because Thompson's mistakes were the most glaring and one was costly. I thought LaDue and Poolman also had a tough time as well out there. The overall UND defensive effort struggled.

Other than Bemidji, the only other team in the WCHA that I hope UND will resume playing on a regular or semi-regular basis is Mankato. Be nice to have another away series that many fans would be able to go to if they wanted to attend.

Denver completes the road sweep of UNO. Denver starting a turnaround? Going to be a really good series next weekend between Omaha and UND. Also, go CC! They played excellent yesterday but couldn't get the W, today they won convincingly.

Danny Kristo and Nick Mattson also played for the NTDP. Both played 2 seasons there.
