You don't think it would be better to play "those type of teams" to better prepare ourselves if we find ourself facing them in the national tournament?
You'd rather play teams we could easily beat?
Why is avoiding a possible very boring game not allowed?

I see in the box score they have Toews' second goal listed as short handed... I'll be interested to see if that stands, because I thought they said that Kozek was stepping back on the ice.
Also noticed that not only did VV score two goals he did well on faceoffs:

My favorite comment of the game was at the very end... something along the lines of St Cloud said that last time we played them (Saturday) they didn't have anything to play for and it was their backup goalie... that's why we won 7-2... I guess the starting goalie is why it was only 6-2... it was pretty funny!
College Hockey Stats says otherwise about Toews goal. And when it comes to who to believe. It'd be CHS.

Well, it's official now... all four talking heads on the Fox Sports North telecast have said the Sioux are clearly the best team in the country and should be favored to win the NCAA. Hex x 4!
(They were all highly complimentary of the Sioux. Called them the most complete team they've seen all year.)
yeah it's much better flying under the radar rather than being hexed by the likes of the FSN team and Jeff Dubay.

how great is that. It seems like VandeVelde has Goepherts number. He's scored all 3 of his collegiate goals against Goephert.

I do however get to get out of school early to go home and watch it on T.V. I mean nothings better than watching Sioux hockey and missing out on taking 2 quizzes.

I loved going to the UND//NDSU football games because it was our very own in-state rivalry. But as time goes on and they haven't played in a while I'm at the point where I could care less if UND ever plays the bison again. I'm satisfied that we have the Nickel and they don't. But I wouldn't mind though if the games between the two started up again
. But if they don't oh well. -

Thanks for the info. Glad to know that I'll be able to watch the last season series on the internet. The Denver webcast worked really well for me and had no delays or problems so I'm hoping that St. Clown's is just as good when you have to pay $7 versus the Denver one being free >.>
