I have 2 tickets available for each of the UND-Mankato games this weekend. They are at the top of section 306, the end that the Sioux shoot twice in each game. Asking $25 each or best offer. I had the same thought when I saw the picture earlier today.

I think it's because so many of them have trouble spelling "Sioux" properly.

Actually, he played 1256 games. He scored 38 goals in the regular season and 4 in the playoffs.

He probably couldn't sell anything with the current logo. I am pretty sure that the ownership rights belong to the University. He could create something similar (unless a contract prohibited it). But it would have to be different in some way to prevent it from being a copyright infringement.

The team isn't going anywhere. The Jets and the Oilers actually left their cities. Our favorite team is the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux. The University of North Dakota is not leaving Grand Forks. If the name is changed it is going to be a completely different situation from your examples. How about this for an example. When a couple gets married the wife usually changes her last name. Does the husband love her any less because she has a different name? Of course not. Losing the Fighting Sioux nickname would be somewhat different, because people are really attached to the name besides being attached to the teams (I doubt that most guys are really attached to their girl friend's last name). But the athletes and the coaches and the other staff are not going to change even if the nickname changes. The only thing that would change would be what we call them as a group. That would be a major change for a lot of people. But it is not the same as losing the team(s).

I heard a rumor that Homecoming will be October 3rd. They must have a game already arranged if that rumor is true.

My buyer was given some free tickets for the game and now doesn't need these. So the tickets are back up for sale. I will contact those that indicated an interest before. But please contact me if you would like to attend the games this weekend.

It would be nice if someone bought both pair (I don't want to sell single seats), but that isn't a requirement. I would prefer that they go to loyal Sioux fans.
