I think it all has to do with the attitude of the team. If they come into a game with a gangbuster attitude, they win. If they come in with a not-so-sure attitude, they lose. Painfully obvious this year.

Resolution is better than UND's webcasts. B2 does a pretty good job, really. I think the only limitation is on SCSU's shoulders. They obviously don't have the same production capabilities as the Ralph.

I applaud your dedication to Sioux hockey. Just keep checking in - I swear it help the team pull through!

That was the kind of "Bam-bam-bam" pass from behind the net to a winger, and on to a player in front that this team needs to do more of in order to be successful this year. Sioux played a pretty good period, but they need to come out hungry and bury this team.

Since when did fans start considering "no sweep" years to be acceptable going into January? I just don't get the zombie-like reaction this year's fans have to what has traspired this season. I'm proud to say that I've watched over 300 Sioux games live. I'm ashamed at what this year's team has done so far.

Yes. The team so far has been cruising, with no emotion. All talk and no walk. I understand, after the last 3 seasons, that some (especaially younger) fans might buy into the whole "late season surge" idea. However, UND does not hang "Late season surge" banners. When you look up at the rafters of REA, you see WCHA and NCAA Championship banners. Nothing else.

I'm not saying they can't. In fact, I had them pegged at season's beginning to be a real contender, and I still feel that they have the personnel, both on the ice and in the coaching staff, to get it done. However, most national champions in hockey history play consistently throughout the season. They don't coast through 2/3 of the season, and then count on some miraculous "run" at the end to get them there. Of all the teams in Hak's era, this one is the best on paper. Why they can not perform is a major concern.

I thin Hak needs to start riding this team. They are flatlining emotionally - something needs to happen to jolt this team's heart into beating.

How bad do they want it? that seems to be the question. So far, I'd say this team has no killer instinct at all.

I hope fans are not delusional in thinking that this team is an NCAA contender at this point. They are not. Maybe they would win one, maybe two. But the Frozen Four requires that you put together a streak of wins - something this team has yet been incapable of doing.

Agreed. This sums things up, a bit less emotionally than I did. UND obviously is a good team. But not a great team. Playing like they have so far this season, they certainly can not be expected to go far in the NCAA's. To do that, you have to put back-to-back-to-back wins together; something this team has yet to do. Not a good sign at all.

I'm a little tired (OK, a LOT tired) of the "don't worry, everything will be okay" attitude of a lot of fans. This year's team has been a huge disappointment. Plain and simple. They have not even measured up to the standards to which an "average" UND team would be held. Let alone a team that returns the Hobey winner, and has as much other talent as they do.

UNH's first win ever in Grand Forks. What a nice moment for them.

Any dreams this team has of a national championship should be burried. They need to start playing one weekend at a time. UNH was missing their best player at the WJC's. UND has no excuse for dropping this game at home. Yet again. This has to be the first time since anyone can remember that the Sioux have not swept a series this late in the season. Seriously - when was the last time?

This team is INCAPABLE of sweeping! I'm sorry to say- this is NOT a championship team. Not even close.

So, after blowing yet another Saturday game at home, and settling for yet another split (no sweeps going into Christmas), is the opportunity for a WCHA title gone? Has UND stopped caring about that? Under Blais, UND won the title numerouos times, and we proudly display banners and trophy's from those years. For the last several years, UND has been very mediocre in the league. What has changed? We don't hang "NCAA Participation" banners at UND. Yet, that is all they have to show for the last several years.

Maybe it is time to shake up the lines again, and sit a few folks. I'm not sure who. To be honest, I thought Duncan & Chorney had very poor games. Can you sit those guys? Probably not.

Since when did the Sioux stop shooting for #1 in the WCHA? Because, this year, they have blown it, yet again. Picked to win the league, this team looks like a #5 or #6 team. Really, that is a lousy performance in the first half, even given the level of competition. Great teams don't make excuses, they just perform.

When the team waits until 16 min's into the 3rd to get energized, that is too little, too late. Congrats on FINALLY making the game interesting. However, as a whole, the game sucked. I hope they hear some of the fans' disappointment, because this team just doesn't seem to want it bad enough.

A whole lot of work to do yet. This team is nowhere near championship form. Not even close. First half of the season done, no sweeps. Not one. That is not Sioux hockey.

On air post game show talks about how well the gophs played defense. Agreed. However, UND failed to test them inside. They were not agressive to the net, and most of their play was along the boards. Top line was pretty quiet, until it was too late. Sorry folks, but I knew Jeff Panzer, and this team is no Jeff Panzer!

6-6-0 in the WCHA. Not exzaclty the "fast start" the team was looking for, is it?

Too little, too late. Where was all that energy earlier? Sorry, but I consider this game weak.
