It's too bad that the media couldn't go hog wild with all the philantrophic deeds that Ralph and his organization have done, i.e. donating more than a couple thousand wheelchairs to those that need then in North Dakota alone. But nooooo, that don't mean $#it to people who want to bash him for building a 100 million dollar hockey arena. It's over looked that he didn't hate the Sioux, he loved the UND hockey program. But, believe what you want.

I don't know what your problem is with Goon but there is absolutely no reason for this post!

This is really sad. As a parent, I question the teachers and professors who have voiced their opposition to the name and logo; NOT because they voice their opinion but the manner in which they do so. These people are teaching our children! I don't want my son/daughter to go to school and be told, 'Whitey screwed you out of California, Arizona, New, Mexico, Texas, etc. Now it's up to you to 'stick it to the man.' This is someone's agenda. My goal in sending my children to school is to complement what they learn at home, be confident in who you are, education is a key to your future, there are many different people out there-learn from them, there may be things that you don't like but you have to find ways to get along/accept and offer solutions to make things better for yourself and others. There are lots more but you get the idea. These 'educators are negative to the core. 1. They make broad, unsubstantiated allegations and profess them to be the truth. 2. They blame a name and logo for all the negative things that happen to them and others. 3. They state bitter, angry, vengeful things, '..stick it to the man..' as the ultimate goal. 4. They don't offer the opportunity to learn and grow from something they perceive as a negative. 5. They only see one side of an issue. (That can be said of tsome he pro name and logo folks as well.) 6. They don't see compromise as a solution. There's more but the first hour rush is beginning.

I didn't read that he is graduating. Some one posted in the comments that he is 'on track to graduate in three years' but the article said,

He has proven time after time that his sole purpose on this forum is to goad members into arguments. Very likely hoping that someone will say something inflammatory that he can take to 'his people' to prove we're the racists. He posts clearly show he is the racist; prime example of the pot calling the kettle black. I think everyone should put him on ignore. I've said it before he isn't adding anything to the name/logo discussion. He just wants to 'stick it to the man'. People post responses to his ridiculous and erroneous posts to show his errors/misconceptions which once proven he's wrong (again), he ignores their responses. I have him on ignore but read his antagonistic responses when others respond to his posts. His descent into his mire of racism shows everyone, pro- and against the name and logo what a little man he is. He can't use logic or valid examples to support his stance so he resorts to insults and antagonism. Ignore him.

When a thread has Holy Cross in it's title and you're sick and tired of hearing/reading about the greatest upset in NC$$ hockey history, a little piece of advise, DON'T READ THE THREAD!!!!!!!!! DUUUUHHH!!!!!

So those racist occurrances at those prestigious Ivy League schools cited above really aren't racist because they don't have Native American names/logos/mascots? Racism only happens at schools with Native American names/logos/mascots? Unless of course they have an exemptions from the NC$$.

I love Joe Finley !!! I want him to stay but I'll understand if he goes. The pros know better than we do and I have no doubt that he'll do great in the NHL. Remember Craig Ludwig? He could barely skate when he came to UND. He had a great NHL career. Joe is better than he was initially.

We're just two freaks in love.....with wine!!! Growing up in Chicago all the drunks in the park drank wine. Guess that's why I avoided it until recently. That must be why I like my HC jersey so much; if I spill any ( sacrilegious!) it doesn't show!
