Yes, it seems the 'informed media' knows squat about the current status of the issue.

My kid played defense his entire hockey career (he's still playing at 23). He had a couple of moves he used when some one planted himself in front of the net, 1) he'd hit the guy behind his knees and 2) would keep tapping him between his legs with his hockey stick. Both moves were taught over and over again to the defensemen in every hockey camp he went too (about two new cars worth of camps).

I disagree with retaliation and cheap shot. I've seen that same hit many times and most of the time it goes unnoticed by the refs. It was NOT a debilitating hit, it was a hit to get the guy's mind off the game. Geeze, if it was anyone other than Punk and Prp, no one here would be making such a big friggin' deal about it.

I am totally biased but I still disagree. Prp's yapping is an important part of the defense. Throws them off their game with his "distractions". Just ask the Goofs.

Your right. Could have turned around for them if they had played the puck instead of going after the Sioux.

I hope that the late period chippiness doesn't roll over to tomorrow. The boys did well playing smart hockey and with DU's PP history we need to keep out of the box. Hopefully, it's out of their system. Can't same the same for DU but the boys have to not respond to their crap if it surfaces tomorrow.
