Could be that Hennessy and Hakstol saw the tap to the cup the same way I do; happens more than once in every game. No reason to go ape $hit over it. Hak did say the Sioux put themselves in a bad position but he also said the the officiating didn't cost DU the game on Friday. I take that to mean that the officiating also had a part in our loss on Saturday. So if Shepard believes the officiating was bad, I wonder if he's going to do anything about it? Yeah right!

It will be on a Saturday, so more people can come. You could fly out Saturday morning,qualify for the Saturday stay over and fly out Sunday. I don't see a problem here bucko! Now pull yourself up by your boot straps, put your shoulder to the wheel, (can't think of anymore cliches) and make a committment to meet your fellow SS.com members for a great time next year.

I double checked and we can get 14 more tickets for the executive suite and 5 more for the mini suite. I found that on line. I don't know how much more it will be. I'll call Julie back tomorrow for that info. Think we can get 28-42 people?

WOW!! Got the prices Mini suite for 10 people is $1424.00 with 250.00 of food and beverages included=$142.40/person Executive suite (center ice) for 28 people is $3700.00 with 500.00 of food and beverages included=$132.14/person. Can order extra beer, food,etc ahead of time. Suites will likely be available for play offs. Unfortunately, I'll be in California at that time. If it's for next season, I have some time to save (hmm, wonder how much I can get for my seats?). OK, I'm still ready to go forth. Let me know if I should pursue this. It would be helpful if we knew next years schedule and those interested could vote which Saturday night we want to do this.

Good point! I believe the suites come with a stocked bar. I'll call and get more info. If enough people express interest, I don't mind being the person to pull it all together.

Season ticket holders had the opportunity to buy their seats up to a certain date. After that date, their seats were up for sale. I bought my season seats before the deadline but only received my tickets today.

PCM mentioned that to me sometime ago. I think that's a great idea. Problem is with planning when and where. I know the Alumni Association has put together a lunch the past couple of years. What's nice about that is not trying to find space for a larger (>4) people in a place near the arena that's not crowed.

You could buy the jersey here and have it personalized in Mpls. Ask around, there has to be a reputable company that does it there. A bigger company may also guarantee their work, so if the jersey is ruined you would be reimbursed.

I called. No suites are available. But what a good idea!! We should consider getting a suite one Saturday night next season. If enough SS.com members want one, it shouldn't be too expensive?! But it would have to be a game that doesn't require constant vigilance, i.e. any WCHA game. Hmm, maybe we should all meet sometime a Dagwoods.

Ya didn't get it right!!! I said wearing nothing but a jock strap or bikini underwear, skates and a smile!! I don't want to see a drag queen for cimminy sakes!!!
