Remember how this bickering started? Someone posted Sparky's roommate told him/her that Sparky was gone and playing hockey in Europe. Goon responded, Then I posted, Where in these two posts were the newbies flammed? fs1 took umbrage at what I posted and dissed me. Siouxtatoo42 called him on that ( thanks ). The fun part of SS.com are the disagreements. No need to get your panties in a bunch because some members don't agree with you. I have never been a member of a clique unless you count the 'I don't want you hanging around with those kids' group of friends I had in high school. If being a member of SS.com means I'm in a clique, I'm home! (I still won't believe Sparky is gone until an official statement is made by UND, Sparky, and/or the hockey program he is supposedly playing for. )

Hmm, took me sixteen hours to get to France from Grand Forks; including lay overs. So, if Sparky left late Saturday (remember he was seen Saturday afternoon), he would have arrived at his Europe location by, oh, let's say around 4:30P Sunday (gotta take in the time difference). Sure, I guess he could be playing hockey in Europe Sunday night. IF HE WAS FRIGGIN' SUPERMAN!!!

First we're told Then He's a fast little guy but could he have been seen here Saturday afternoon and playing in Europe by Sunday?

A former Sioux hockey mom told me the boys are strongly discouraged from reading sports forums. So I can't imagine a current member of the team would come on board and post anything!

Hey, hey now!!! There is a BIG difference in the Cubs and Wilds attendance. Neither team does well but in the case of the Cubs the stadium is generally sold out regardless of their play!!!!

I agree. We've had several months (years) to get tribal support so I don't believe the NC$$ is going to extent the deadline so we get 'permission'. I personally don't think we should need tribal persmission to use a name and logo that is not trademarked by any sole tribe; anymore than than any other team/city/state/merchandise/business has to get tribal permission to use a Native American name. The only reason for another NC$$ delay is to put off the inevitable>>they're loss in court.
