  1. Another nice save!! Saunders looking good
  2. Those little boys aren't afraid to to use their bodies!
  3. Visiting my son in OK. Watching via streaming. Nice pic.
  4. Promo 'HOCKEY'. The tickets are for the outdoor game on Saturday. Tickets for the Friday game go on sale in November.
  5. Got my tickets; section 114, row 7. Wish I had read undhockey's post first! Oh well, it'll be a good day of hockey. Omaha Lancers and Lincoln Stars play at 12:30 and the Sioux play the Mavs at 4:07. Tickets good for both games.
  6. Here's a little speculation/rumor/claim/allegation>>>the cops let the boys go with a warning more often than not 'back in the day'. Public scrutiny doesn't allow that type of police behavior in this day and age of social media like Facebook, etc. Just sayin'/speculatin'/rumor-mongering/alleging........ As the mother of two young men, I am keenly aware of 'boys will be boys' stupidity. My youngest, an athlete in his day, not a drinker or user did more to drive me to the Lady Clairol bottle than I thought possible. I acutally took him to the cop shop after I found out about an illegal 'shenanigan'. I don't condon irresponsible/illegal behavior and I don't condon irresponsible rumor mongering. As a fan, I have respect and trust in Hak and his crew taking care of business.
  7. This hockey party has been happening since the first Canadian laced 'em up for the Fighting SIoux in 1929!! And, according to rumor. they were all at least 25 years old, semi-pros, didn't attend classes, and wore hats made of gopher skins with coats lined with Badger fur.......
  8. There was plenty of crap happening behind those closed 'hockey walls' during the Blais 'era', the Gasperini 'era', et al. It just wasn't thrown out as public fodder to the extent it is today. They kept their dirty laundry at home and didn't make it public information just because fans felt entitled to the information. Any 'crimes' you think happened will be made public; anything thing else has been taken care of and no one else is entitled to more information than that. The fan base is talking about this, not one has closed this thread. People talking about alcohol poisoning without facts is irresponsible.
  9. I don't condon underage drinking or excessive alcohol drinking for anyone. We, the fans, aren't entitled to any explanations. Speculating about poisoning is just that...speculation. The coaches took control of the situation and acted accordingly. The student-athletes have accepted their punishment and are moving forward. So should we.
  10. I don't understand why 'public figures' aren't entitled to privacy.
