  1. He reminds me of a twelve year old with a hormonal surge!!! Lots of stuff, no where to put it, so damn it, I'm gonna do, see and say whatever I want until I get caught and my computer privileges are taken away!
  2. NO, it's nothing like cheering for the Goofs!!!! You can't live in Chicago and cheer for both teams but I have cheered for both since moving away. It took me about twenty years but I can do it!!
  3. It would be soooo cool if a FS playerwho was leaving not to join a professional hockey team joined the Chicago Cubs!! I know that many of the players played more than one sport before college.
  4. Ewwwwww! I think, based on the colors of his zubaz, this guy is a BADger fan
  5. Would a formal request from fans for a Fan Appreciation day help? As far as I know, none of the players has left as of yet.
  6. Hmm, maybe I don't love you so much afterall. Having moved away from Chicago, I cheer for all the home town teams. ...ok only when I'm not home do I cheer for ALL the home teams.
  7. DUH!! Colby Genoway and Travis Zajac both played for the Fighting Sioux. I did start another list for family members who played post college sports just to highlight the great FS gene pool.
  8. Oh yeah!! But, as a South Chicago born and raised White Sox fan, I have not and will not tell my family that I also cheer for the Cubbies!!
  9. That's NOT fresh air my friend!! Compare it to cattle pens 'fresh air'.
  10. It's all yours! Oh and by the way, after reading your sig's, I think I love you!
  11. Is there a posting contest that I don't know about? Nevermind, posting for the express purpose of being #1 poster is not appealing to me. If there is a contest, I don't want to participate!
  12. Wow! Seven, 2007-2008, players with eight relatives who played hockey for UND.
  13. Say it isn't so Joe Hak!! An end of season 'Meet the Sioux' is looked forward to by most Sioux fans. It's our time to say 'Thank you' to the players. Even though, in all probability, I would not have been there, it's sad for those who planned on attending.
  14. I wouldn't go so far as to say they weren't won by Sioux fans. I used to ride bike when I lived in California but decided owning a bike and paying for it's upkeep wasn't worth it for a few weeks a year when I moved back to Illinois. Riding on the straight highways of Illinois was not appealing. I don't think riding in North Dakota would be any better!! Anyway, just because the bikes are for sale doesn't mean the winners are not good Sioux fans. It just may be they're not chopper or bike fans.
  15. I've know that historically we have had relatives playing for the Fighting Sioux. I was just amazed at the number on this team alone!! No legacies here! Every one of them earned their spot!
  16. If someone gave me a Harley, I wouldn't care what color is was! I haven't had a bike since I moved from California about a hundred years ago. I tried riding in Illinois but it just wasn't as fun as riding on the PCH!!
  17. Why would that be a 'step down ' for him? Don't anyone take this as a slam but In the article he said he didn't know what he would be doing and included coaching Bantam as an option. The interview left me with the impression that he wants to do something that will place his family first and the job second on his list of priorities.
  18. You had a green motorcycle?
  19. Cliquey? I don't think that's the right word. Many members disagree with other members on this board. The right word is 'respectful'. Not all of us are respectfull all the time (guilty) but the majority of us try not to bash other members (unless they're trolls). I guess an option would be what I have done to more than one member.. put them on ignore and don't respond to their baiting. The other option, let Jim handle it. It's his forum after all.
  20. The way he's trying to incite the members makes me wonder.... breakin face = the "source"

  22. Sounds like a man we need following the Buning firing ( http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?S=242#s=242&a...7&t=2368303 ), I expect those that want Bollinger as AD and used Buning's sideline push-ups against him to scream for Faison's head if he gets 'fiery' at any games, I wish the new AD all the best and I hope for the sake of UND's athletic programs that the alum, all of them, will support him 100%.
