I may be wrong but the sportsmanship award is not for the fans as much as the players. You may be thinking of the Spirit Award which they dont give to the winning team very often., This would explain why Grand Forks doesnt get it. Noone cares about the sportsmanship award for that matter. You are there to win the State Hockey Tournament, not the spirit award? There is a seperate state tournament for the cheerleaders.

I disagree. LaDoucer will be ready by the end of the year if he opts to go. As far as Vigen strength is not an question with him. Both Vigen and meland have the skill to move on to the next level maybe not next season but definately their senior year. Cambell didnt get much done against the second line of Brown, Vigen and schneider. He is a good player but schneider, vigen, and brown are all capable of keepin up with him.

You are right, I do love Red River and the blonde hair. They are state champs how can you not love em'. Well actually they arent the real state champs because LaDoucer won the game for them. If im not mistaken they were screwed out of a big call last year by the Red Beard but a good team plays through that and wins games. And by the way you must really know what your talking about because Red River was never losing to West Fargo you dumb @$$.

Unreal! Specifics, so many people have already said this and i'll say it again. How can you say they were the best team in the state when they didnt win a state title. The state title is awarded to the best team that year. Give up on last year, RR was the best team in the state, they have some big shiny thing on their finger to prove it.
