  1. RR was a little shaky but i think thats good for them. Theyll be more ready for the next game. I believe Mihulka also had a natural hat trick (coorect me if im wrong) and he also had an assist or two. That line with Spies, Meland, and Mihulka is really clicking. They absolutely dominate the power play. West Fargo just outworked and outhit Central. Every time Central got the puck they were hit, hard. Hokum played good and Shane didnt play bad either, not sure about Tony Bina and his goalie pulling.
  2. Well X, i dont know how i can thank you enouggh for such a prestigious award. Being a Rube isnt always easy, infact there is not a lot of glory when push comes to shove. Id like to thank Jesus for all he does for me, my parents, and all my sponsors. Gordon will win the Daytona 500.
  3. Agree with some disagree with others. Dont see why Jamestown is a dissapointment, idk who thought they would be good. Biggest fan of Mihulka. Coach of the yeat Matt Malm-(Very few returning players) Biggest asset to siouxsports.com-Soohockey15 Biggest rube- Soohockey15
  4. I was also at the game and RR was clearly the better team as shown by the score. I really do feel bad for Kringstad. HAHA, NOT!!!. He didnt play all that bad but the stuff he does as mentioned by QB Eagles is terrible. Shows how focused he is when he is paying attention to the young fans. Im sure people will critisize me for bashing him but o well. I mean come on, he needs to grow-up and quit being such a nut. Also to go along with a classless goal tender a defensmen #11 ( I believe Luke Paulson) blatantly took his hand off his stick in the middle of play and gave RR fans the finger.
  5. The goal was scored on Pat Arnason who was not using his own pads. Two games in a row he forgot equiptment, trapper and blocker agaist Minot and his legs pads agaisnt Whapeton.
  6. There is no way that is Klenow and Klein.
  7. Please do not listen to the apologies of Lives-to-play06. he may have good intentions but he has false info, i can personally guarentee that neither myself not ndhockey01 are JV hockey players for RR. As for WW23 he is being a complete "Blockhead"
  8. Well lets hope this guy isnt a 10th grader. If it is he must go to Central because RR doesnt produce any one this stupid.
  9. Sounds like a modern day Tommy Jefferson . I agree with Wilbur the West does deserve the same amount of talk the East gets, the only sophomore names you hear on this site are Galbreath, Ladoucer, and Swanson. Nobody seems to be talking about Tyrel McBain who is almost single handedly keeping Hazen in the race for state. The western players tie their skates the same way as Paul Weisgarber or the Campbell cousins. It's pretty classless for SuperSioux to come on here just to let out a personal vendetta on a respected poster like Wilbur.
  10. Your right, i play for the JV team as well as NDHockey1. How did you figure this out?
  11. Well for one thing i have nothing to do with the RR hockey team. You say they are not that good, they are both putting up stats similar to Galts sophomoer year, or did Galt see much PT as a sophomoer? I think you can find a lot of people who KNOW both Galbreath and LaDoucer are better players than Swanson, including every coach and player that has played agaist all of these. Both Galbreath and LaDoucer have participated in Festivals and have done very well. Galbreath did turn down offers to leave his sophomoer season, both have played elite league both have been invitded to USHL and Junior A tryouts. On the Eli Rosendahl note, i dont know what ticked you off. Noone said anythign about him moving on to the next level, and nor does he have any intentions to. You say he isnt a Lameroux, Walski, Ziggleman; I agree 100% and noone sais he was. You obviously know nothing about high school hockey and watch very little if any. Also, noone said anything about them being drafted in early rounds of the NHL draft or being the next crosby.
  12. Actually that big defensmen from the Minot JV team was pulled from the line as they were shaking hands and told to get off the ice. Also, during the varsity game Minot JV players came and sat near the RR JV team and they were running there mouth. They were quickly shut up when they realized they lost 4-1. As stated before RR dominated the second half of the first and whole second period. They came out very flat in the third and Minot capitalized on there odd man rush, and point blank oppertunities. The more i watch LaDoucer and Galbreath the more amazed I am with how good they are. Hope to see them in a Sioux Uniform in a few years.
  13. RR over Jamestown 4-1. Shots about 45-10. Spivey is a complete moron and should not be reffing. RR was without Spieis due to injury and lost Brown early in the game after a typical Spivey call.
  14. A little of the ND highschool hockey topic but Roseau with a big win over moorhead 5-2 tonight.
  15. Talked to a few Rider players and they said it was quite hysterical how much the North Players run their mouth. Youd think after gettipng punded that many times theyd shut-up. Also, Klein, Fisher, Bombanger, and Klenow did absolutely nothing tonight. They were all out there on the powerplay together and mangede to get a couple shots but they were rarely able to get it set up. Not one of these players is what soem of you hype them up to be.
  16. I aslo just got home from the RR-North game. RR domianted all aspects of the game. North had the puck down in the Rider zone about 3 times thorougout the game for more that 20 seconds. Those were all powerplays. I have to say I disagree with soohockey15 on Welk playing good. Im not saying he played good but he is very capible of playing better than that. He was left out to dry on a couple but he should have saved 2, maybe 3 of the 6 he let in. Also, it was good to see Swedish Foriegn exchange student see some varsity playing time.
  17. What makes South and RR the best two teams in the state??? RR beat Grafton, South beat Grafton, South and RR split. As of now there is no question they are they top two.
  18. South Scored three quick goals near the end of the second. RR scored with about 2 min left on a goal from Rau. Two min in to the third Benke took the legs out from under Diechart and JAKE DELISLE notched his first goal as a Red River Varsity man. (Congrats Jake) Spies made it 3-3 and Meland scored on a breakaway in OT to give the Riders a win. NOTE: Ian Powers a Super Sophomoer and Andrew Vigen both were given game DQ for roughing. Powers pretty much flipped out.
  19. I would have to say Milhulka is the best overall player in the state. He is down in point totals but he starts the plays on a lot of RR's goals. He doesnt have another outstanding player on his line like the Cambells and Weisgarber do. He does a lot of the dirty work and is all guts no(some) glory. After seeing the Stop-o-Razi I cant think of a better candidate.
  20. NO, you dont have to pay per game. You can purchase an activity pass for 25$ which is good for all events excluding tournaments.
  21. But give the 13 kids who were there credit, they made themselves known.
  22. This should solve some contreversy over who has better PeeWee/Bantam teams. Bantam "A" Standings Peewee "A" standings
  23. Rumor has it Parise was hurt in practice yesterday and walski hopped a plane last night to Alaska.
