  1. NSU 65 UND 62 9 minutes left Koenig back on the court
  2. NSU 58 UND 53 12 minutes to go Koenig rolled his ankle and limps off the court
  3. Sioux men are shooting 68% from the field, and 70% from the line. It is fun to get a first look at the new squad. They are definately athletic. Would be nice to have Dryburgh and Gutter on the inside to help out Koenig.
  4. I'm too lazy to do research. I know Northern's Men's team was very good last year, how good is their women's team?
  5. Feed is up on the FSSN for tonights basketball game.
  6. To offset that weakness, they appear to have a plethora of players who still consistently shoot 3's. Seriously, in addition to inconsistent outside shooting, they have been horrible at the FT line, and due to injuries to Gutter and Dryburg, there is (like last year) very little inside presence. Gutter played with a fractured rib last night, and is now going to be out for 2-3 weeks.
  7. Last time UC Davis was in town, there were well over 11,000 for that game. UND football fans are a knowledgeable bunch, and most of us all had a pretty good idea of what was going to happen today, so about 5,000 people that are normally at the games decided to to keep their $15. There are alot more programs in DII like Winona than there are like UND. I, for one, can't wait to move. No mention of the DII game of the day that took place between South Dakota and Northwood? Attendance was 1,412 for that one. I sure wish we could head out there someday to take part what must be an amazing gameday atmosphere. I've been 100 miles outside of Grand Forks for 29 years and have supported the Sioux. I'll bet alot of people that live out of town didn't make the drive today like I did, because it was Winona. I debated whether or not to (for about 30 seconds). More intriguing, better quality opponents means fans become intrigued. Anyone who lives in Grand Forks who prefers the DII model remember that there is a DII program just 20 minutes east on Highway 2 that you can lend your support to rather than to UND if you so chose.
  8. UND is 4-1 in the Friendly Fargodome. A.K.A. : Home away from Home We own most NCC fields, with the exception of Caniglia.
  9. With Augustana officially looking to the NSIC, I'd look for UNO to officially announce that they either intend to or have applied to the MIAA before this school year is over. Southwest Baptist University football Bearcats might go independent
  10. Sweeney, just said on tonight's 6:00 news that there will be no TV for the Winona game this weekend.
  11. Lennon said on his show last night that the QB that started the game against us suffered a season ending injury about 3 weeks ago, so they have a different QB than the on who started against us for the last few weeks now.
  12. Yeah, I thought too that he was "off the bench" this season.
  13. Why would it be embarassing? That would be 6,000 more than has ever showed up at the Fargodome for a playoff game. I'll be at the game, and I hope it is on TV as well. It doesn't matter what the attendance is, TV coverage is good for the University, regardless.
  14. Well, according to both Bobcatnation.com and Bisonville.com the Bobcat-Bison game for 2007 is officially off. MSU wants a DII home game, and NDSU is down to 3 (I think) confirmed home games for '07. Those are two very intriguing regional possibilities if UND is looking for a I-AA game for next year. I've always been in the camp of wanting to renew the rivalry with NDSU asap, but personally I think a trip to Bozeman next year would be great for the program and generating interest. However unlikely, I'd love to see either game happen in 2007.
  15. With a full year left to play, Weston will likely go down as the best wide receiver to ever strap on a helmet for UND. It has been fun watching him play.
  16. I think it is a tale of two offenses, one with Manke and one with Belmore. Had Manke been healthy all season, I do think that this offense could have went down in history as one of the most prolific the Sioux have ever fielded. But with suffling of QB's, we were lucky to get 20 points during the middle games of the season.
  17. Beasley has been allocated to the Dakota Wizards. Former UND player Beasley joins Wizards
  18. Still looking for 4 tickets to the following games: Sat. Dec. 9 vs. Wisconsin Fri. Jan. 12 vs. Alaska Anchorage Fri. Feb. 9 vs. Minnesota St. Fri. Feb. 16 vs. Minnesota-Duluth Offering $30 per ticket in the lower bowl for the above games. pm or email: jci@invisimax.com
  19. I know South Dakota lodged an official complaint with the NCAA for being left out of the playoffs last year and got some sort of official response. I'd assume Buning will be sitting at the typewriter on Monday.
  20. I expect this upcoming rendition of UND v. Winona to be even more lopsided than the earlier one from this season. How does a team such as Winona get into the playoffs when they only played three teams with winning records this season, and lost to two of them? UND 66 WSU 3
  21. I didn't pay close attention during the selection show because I was so irate, but did anybody notice where #3 Newberry will be playing next week? According to this , Newberry gets a home game. It'll be fun to watch Sioux Sports Weekly tonight. I'm sure Lennon won't say much, but I'll be Hammer will have a comment or two.
