  1. I assume it means they haven’t been drafted yet?
  2. Free agent next to some players on the roster. What exactly does that mean?
  3. The boys have taken control of this game now
  4. Man I knew they had some new guys but 15 out of 27 is a lot obviously
  5. Oh man how do you miss that?
  6. D unit will be much improved from last years squad
  7. Really looking forward to this season
  8. This isn’t good The Vikings o-line against Cleveland on Sunday is now: Starting (Pro Bowl caliber) LT 3rd string LG 3rd string C (who was the backup LG - never played C in a game before) Starting RG Backup RT
  9. Can North Dakota’s Roster Overhaul Take It Back to Success? North Dakota enters an intriguing year with a lot of players leaving North Dakota after the lack of success the past few seasons and the firing of 10-year head coach Brad Berry. The most notable of them is sophomore Sacha Boisvert; their 30-point first-line center elected to transfer to Boston University. Five of last season’s top six forwards have left. North Dakota got to work in recruiting and the transfer portal, and committed two of the top CHL prospects in forward Cole Reschny and defenseman Keaton Verhoeff. Reschny, the 18th overall pick of the 2025 NHL draft, will have high expectations to lead the forwards with returning senior Dylan James. Clarkson transfer Ellis Rickwood had 35 points last season for the Golden Knights and will be a key piece in the Fighting Hawks' offense. “I expect ups and downs, usually our best players, they have some struggles but if you're a smart player you learn to adapt. Usually by the second half, you start to get comfortable and you’re not considered a rookie anymore.” coach Dane Jackson said. The Fighting Hawks' goaltending situation looks new as well with Arizona State transfer Gibson Homer being the target for the starting role. A change of scenery for the North Dakota bench with the firing of Berry and long-time assistant Jackson stepping up. https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2025/10/02_2025-26-NCHC-Watch-List.php
  10. Love watching him play and now that I hung up my coaching whistle I’ll be heading to St Paul for more games now. Yes this could turn on them like the Parise/Suter deal but there’s were for 13 years not 8. Bottom line is he needs to stay healthy
  11. it still is. Let this one play out and see what happens. Cap is going up significantly the next 4/5 years. Thinking the Oilers aren’t real happy with it since they need to extend McDavid
  12. Max Pacioretty's playing career appears to be over. The 36-year-old is joining the University of Michigan as a special assistant to the head coach, the program announced Tuesday. "After 17 seasons in the NHL, I'm excited to begin this next chapter with Michigan hockey," Pacioretty said in a statement. "I'm so thankful for the teammates, coaches and fans who have been a part of my journey. Hockey has given me so much, and now I have the opportunity to help develop the next generation of players.
  13. Hopefully they can build around him and also hope their young guys develop into above average pros. I said anything over 15 per was too much. If this gets them one Cup it’s all worth it but being a Minnesota sports fan my entire life they probably don’t get out of the first round again in the next 8 years.
  14. Kaprizov signed for 17 per for 8 years with the Wild
