HB have good numbers at the youth level from bantams down. Now the key obviously is retaining those players in high school. This year will be another bad year much like last year.

Dubnyk has now stopped 106 consecutive shots while going 195 minutes of shutout hockey. 3 shutouts in a row. A week ago he couldn’t stop a beachball. Ah the life of a goalie.

Grant Mismash is the NCHC rookie of the week for the third time in five weeks. Mismash leads UND in scoring with 11 points in 11 games.

Got to meet Coach Berry today as my peewee team played his sons and Dane Jackson sons team. What a class act. We lost 4-3 but he congratulated us coaches afterwards and said it’s nice to see coaches with passion for the game. Told him thanks and good luck in Denver. Just a great guy. UND is lucky to have him

Tore apart the number 1 defense today 51-23. 4 more TD’s for Carson. Running game was rolling. Now the bye week and then a date in Dallas.

BIson got manhandled on both sides of the ball. Stick was terrible. Better team won. It will be interesting if they meet again in the playoffs.
