I can't believe anyone would pay $239 for one night in a hotel room. I bought a 1972 AMC Gremlin for $175 and a 1973 Mercury comet for $150 and they lasted four years! By the way, does anyone know where I can get gas for 39 cents a gallon?

I am hoping those Sioux games up in Massachusetts happen. I am going to really try to see a live Sioux game next season. Does anyone know if series with the Q will mean a trip to Connecticut in 2007-08? Thanks.

TheseMy Webpage are a bit pricey for my taste, but they look terrific. The company is donating some to the Rutgers Touchdown Booster Club for an auction after this Saturday's Spring Game. Apparently, you can get them for any college or other team in baseball, hockey, football, basketball, etc.

Sorry to see kids leaving college early, but I hope he is happy in the pros. He won't be in Albany long because the New Jersey Devils AHL team will be in Lowell,Mass. next season.

Games at Massachusetts colleges next year?
JESUS,family, rutgers replied to JESUS,family, rutgers's topic in Men's Hockey
Hello ATLSioux, There isn't a Big East Lacrosse League, but some of the schools such as Rutgers, Saint John's, Syracuse, and Georgetown are members of the ECAC Lacrosse League. RU is 5-4 this year and the team usually finishes around .500. New Jersey is a pretty good state for lacrosse, but not on the level of Maryland. The lacrosse leagues are similiar to the hockey leagues--collection of teams that are in other leagues for their other sports. My Webpage -

From the April 9 Newark Star-Ledger, "As they get closer to the playoffs, the New Jersey Devils still aren't sure what their defensive pairings will look like into the postseason. Paul Martin, who was back into the lineup last night against the Canadiens in Montreal after a brief illness, is paired with Colin White as New Jersey's top unit. If Richard Matvichuk's back stays healthy enough, he could be alongside Brian Rafalski on the second pairing. That would leave David Hale,Tommy Albelin,Ken Klee, and Brad Lukowich for the final two spots. "We have to make the playoffs first," Albelin pointed out. "I guess Lamoriello will go with the guys who are playing the best. And then the best matchups for whoever we're facing in the playoffs, too." Klee has played well of late and may merit a spot. That would leave Hale,Lukowich, and Albelin for the last spot. "I think it will be a difficult decision maybe," Hale said. "But I think Lamoriello will make the right decision. He's been doing pretty good so far."

Regardless of where he goes to college, hope his life continues to be happy and healthy.

Do most of you think the Fighting Sioux will be better than last year, not as good, or about the same? GO FIGHTING SIOUX! GO SCARLET KNIGHTS!

Hope all of you out in North Dakota and Minnesota are OK. You have too much water and we don't have enough here in New Jersey. We just had a Winter with almost no snow or rain. The woods have been a tinderbox until today which is our first full day of rain since the Fall. Sounds like many people out your way are at least prepared when this type of thing happens.

Former Rutgers Scarlet Knight Graig Badger has signed on to be a 2nd baseman with the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks. He has been in the Toronto Blue Jays organization since graduation.

Curses? We are the school who started college football and after 137 years, we have a grand total of one National Championship( shared with Princeton) in 1869 and two bowl games, one in 1978 and one in 2005. North Dakota--please send your curse to our sports program ASAP! GO FIGHTING SIOUX! GO SCARLET KNIGHTS!

Hello kfah1, Terrific post! Anyone can be a fan of a team when they are champions. After years of watching struggling football and basketball teams here in New Jersey, I am a huge fan of the teams not just in the winning years. After 27 years without a bowl game, it was just such a great feeling to know we finally turned the corner, but it was also great knowing how many hard-core fans supported the program over the years. With so many young players helping in the great run the past month, it seems like there is a solid foundation for next season.

Thank you North Dakota players and coaches for all your hard work this season. Looking forward to next season and hopefully being able to see a game live up in Massachusetts. GO FIGHTING SIOUX! GO SCARLET KNIGHTS!

What are your favorite sports to play in the Summer in North Dakota? How about as a spectator?
-
You would think schools would make items like this available even if they didn't order a lot of them. There are always enough people interested to make it at least a break even situation plus the school gets some "walking" publicity for the teams. Thanks for the info. Does the Sioux baseball team ever play any night games or is it just too cold in the Spring in North Dakota? What size crowds turn out for the games?

Frozen Four - What will you be wearing?
JESUS,family, rutgers replied to SiouxMD's topic in Men's Hockey
Can't wear one to work on Thursday, but after the Sioux win I will be wearing my white #18 Tim Skarperud jersey and a Rutgers cap on Saturday at my nephews' little league opening day. GO FIGHTING SIOUX!!! GO SCARLET KNIGHTS!!! -
Hello katohtr, I was wondering if you know why the Sioux baseball jerseys are not for sale on siouxshop.com? The pure white with Sioux across them look great. GO FIGHTING SIOUX! GO SCARLET KNIGHTS!
