Not even a moron operation like the Bruins would make Parise a backup in the NHL right away. Other then Marc-Andre Fleury (HA HA! way to put it off of O'Sullivan), who's another goalie that has gone straight from college/major juniors/Europe to the NHL? Dan Blackburn? And look what happened with him.
And yet that victory, which will no doubt be NDSU's crowning achievement in DI, is all but forgotten by everyone. BTW, do know if NDSU is planning on having a banner raising at the BSA for that monumental victory?
Minnesota and Wisconsin already have nearly all their games televised, so I'm not sure they really care about this. Michigan and Michigan State have a good number of their games televised. Why would any of them want to enter into a contract where they have to share the money with other schools, when they already have their own contracts where they get all the money?
