Am I the only who who has noticed a lot of teams will mock the UND fan finger point in air thing (when Chelsea Dagger is played) when they score against? I've seen a lot of teams doing it the last few years (both in the NCHC and out of conference).

Gopher hockey podcast lamenting Mariucci and Kohl Center being too big. Meanwhile, UND is selling out the Ralph still. I don't know the right size for a college hockey arena but they should have tipped their cap to UND. We will see if UND can keep filling the Ralph.

it didn't used to be this way for them. They used to sell out every night. For as much as people make fun of the Kohl Center being empty now, Mariucci looks the same most games.

why is Mariucci always empty? I thought they were an iconic franchise.

boring building, boring fanbase, boring city. Zero desire to ever go to that arena. Do we know what the UND players say is their favorite roadtrip? I feel like sometimes they ask the players. I imagine they say either UMD, Denver, or Western.

lets be honest Magness in game environment sucks. Denver needs to build a fanbase before they have the atmosphere of a big time program. Every time I've been its 60% UND fans.

I can't believe ESPN thinks Michigan State vs BU is a better game than UND vs Minnesota. They must think the casuals won't watch UND because it isn't a well known university.

I don't like this idea. It needs to be played when the students are around. The Ralph and Mariucci aren't the same with the students gone.

crazy idea but I think UND and Minnesota should do a home and home every year like we just did with UST (1 game at each arena). keeps momentum/energy for each fanbase in rivalry. Do it the same weekend every year (like how Alabama Tennessee always play the same weekend in October ever year in football).

Every Gophers fans I've meant knows UND is a blue blood. They just hate our program. All I say is F them back. I have to admit Bob Motzko does not seem like he should be a coach of a blue blood. Gophers need a young visionary polished guy running the program. Doesn't appear that Bob has any vision or striver mindset like the other big school coaches (he's no Hakstol, how Jackson sounds, Nick Saban in football if you hear them all talk). I seriously have no idea what Minnesota saw in him unless he was a transitional coach for them after Lucia.

I think Denver is currently enemy #1, not Minnesota.
