That was an amazing play by notermann to spin around the defender like that.
-
I posted this in the other thread, but i guarantee that most of the fans were booing the officials and not the players. Also, what happened on that really hard hit that led to roughing?? Did anyone else think that the refs waved off icing way too much? I'm not a fan of stoppages in play, but plays like that could hurt a team.
-
I guarantee you the majority of the fans were booing the ref and not the players. Anyway, what happened on that really hard hit ( i forget who it was), why was he called for roughing? Also, there were a couple of other bogus calls that really got under my skin. Hopefully the sioux can player even better tonight.

Isn't it NiagAra...... :p
-
The speed and ability to move the puck on this team is so much better than last year's team. I can't wait until friday to see it all again!
-
Isn't it usually the closest player to the play that would get credited with the goal??? or am i off
-
PCM is the ultimate college hockey resource
-
I didn't even know the other team could score a goal on a delayed penalty... That would have sucked!!!
-
On my season tickets it says niagara wildcats instead of purple eagles. lol
-
wasn't that massen who got "the hit"?? If it was adelayed offsides why did he stand their lookin at the puck instead of getting back

Off your recap.. "With the Sioux on the power play, junior forward Ryan Hale put UND up 4-0 at 17:40 of the second period when he stuffed in the rebound off senior forward Jason Notermann's shot." I think it was a little more than stuffin in a rebound. Hale got a full wind up, and wow what a shot he has.

Some of the plays on the ice blew my mind. This team impresses me offensively more than the 2000-2001 runner up team.
-
Guys whose play really impressed me tonight: 1. Massen 2. Fuher 3. Marvin : I didnt keep a constant eye on this guy, but he seemed to play pretty solid.
-
Manitoba isnt a high quality opponent, but they have played us well in the past. Anyway, i really really liked what i saw against manitoba. Some of the plays those guys were making were incredible. Go Sioux
-
Hey dude .. im excited for you. Are you going to be able to catch any of the women's hockey games this weekend???
-
OHHHHH no i dont... Next weekend... niagara at UND , BC at UND.... that means i get to see 5 hockey games in 1 week.
-
I am soooo there.. this is going to be a greaaaaat weekend of hockey!
-
They showed a special on Shattuck last night on WDAZ news, and they interviewed Parise, Murray and that defenseman who is coming next year... (forget his name). Anyway, they said they chose UND because it most resembled SSM.
-
What i like most about parise's stats is 5 goals 2 of which are short handed and 3 assists.
-
So does that make it 4 players from SSM ???? Just out of curiosity, but how many past sioux players have come from this school?
-
Hmm.. of course losing to manitoba would suck, but how in the world would it affect the playoffs if it doesnt go on the record.
-
Keep in mind UND has yet to play a game with both Genoway and canady.. maybe this will add some MUch needed depth to the UND squad.
-
I think the Parise situation is a little different than other players who leave early. Parise grew up with the "lure" of the NHL his whole life, so i doubt that he is going to as much a hurry to leave as some other players. Also, the money thing i dont think is as much of an issue to him as some other players. Let me know what you guys think about that
-
Yeah.. but dont forget that one of the goals happened on a 2-0 rush on the goalie after getting caught on a 5 man change. I doubt that will happen again this season. On the gopher board some posters are congratulating parise, but many are saying how he won't be here more than a year and that michigan isnt as good as their ranking. Looks like they are already a little concerned!!! Looking forward to the match up .... OUT!
-
Ok.... UNC forfeits because it won games with an ineligible player. That inelible player had a big part in the wins, but teams like UND and whoever lost to them don't get a win out of a UNC loss??? That seems wrong.
