http://www.fightingsioux.com/files/1102.pdf http://www.fightingsioux.com/sports/mhocke...RELEASE_ID=5135 I don't know if these links will work but it's from the 10/4 release about this weekend's series. Sounds just like last weekend... "First 100 people to log on due to server capabilities, is free and no more than 100 people can tune in." Log on via the listen live link on the UND Athletics website: http://www.fightingsioux.com/info/broadcast/ Log on and Go Sioux!!! See you on the game thread...

I like the determination and confidence I hear (read) from Coach Hakstol. Looking forward to a good and exciting year. Great to read your recaps again PCM. Thanks for taking the time to do this!! Now, without a doubt, it is Sioux season!!
-
Thanks for sharing the photos!
-
Bina player of the game. Good to see him back to 100 percent and playing an active role with the Sioux again!
-
Agreed...
-
Let's answer back with a goal Sioux!

Video seems clearer than last year...
-
Agreed... At least it's free

Webcast is up. Its up!!!!! Go Sioux!!!

I am accessing the live broadcast link, it then pops me to a windos with a url as mms://134.129.176.246/hockey then pops up my Windows media player and then states that it can not play the file. Any one else having a similar issue? never had a problem with dataflix before. It's not even giving me the option for a user or password...
-
Great, now I don't need to worry about seeing the game on dataflix!
-
It'd be nice if they would let everyone know what's going on. Seems like Diggler always has an in...

Thanks for the recap PCM. Really looking forward to your summaries and insight during the season. Can't wait for the puck to drop!! GO SIOUX!!

I sent an e-mail inquiring about the status of Dataflix on September 10th and still have not received a reply... a great way of doing business! Less than 10 days bfore the Manitoba game. I was hoping to watch it...
-
Don't expect HD quality that's for sure. It's not high quality and if you expand the video to full screen, it becomes much more grainy. I never had too many problems freezing up or jumping. I've seen much better internet feeds than Dataflix and I guess for the amount of money you may spend and that it's the UND Fighting Sioux, you'd just want/expect the best. I can't complain too much (except when I encounter problems) because I just want to see the Sioux games. I'm hoping they improve the quality this time around and at times I think what they have offered should be free...
-
Agreed... I also had the season package. I had a few initial problems and one or two problems later in the season but overall, a much better system than previous years. That would be something if they did end up offering a free internet feed. But, even if they didn't, I'd still pay the approxmately $70.00 (or whatever they'll be charging in 2006-2007) for the season package (Nothing updated on the Dataflix site as of yet). They know they gotcha right where they want you. But hey, I gotta watch the Sioux any way that's possible! Just a few more weeks! The smell of Sioux hockey is in the air!!!

Thanks to everyone for sharing their photos and experiences of Commodore and the Cup at the Ralph!

How do you display you are a Sioux fan?
kfah1 replied to JESUS,family, rutgers's topic in Men's Hockey
Nice thread ... Several Sioux jerseys (including the authentic), sweatshirts, t-shirts, several caps... wear them to any of my kids' hockey practices/games, and to various OHL, CCHA (since I live in Michigan) and Red Wings games. I also wear the jerseys to work on Sioux game days. Have bought the kids various Sioux apparel and hats, some pucks, pennants and banners. The boys wear their Sioux jerseys for hockey practices. At work, I have the Fighting Sioux Hockey History magazine/book on my office table, autograph stick along with various Sioux photos and ticket stubs on the wall along with photographs of my kids in the Sioux jerseys. Stickers and decals on the Suburban. Had a trailer hitch cover but it got busted up. CAN ANY ONE ASSIST ME IN WHERE I COULD GET ANOTHER (PREFERABLY NOT PLASTIC)?! I'VE ONLY BEEN ABLE TO FIND THEM ONLINE AT THE SIOUX SHOP AND THOSE ARE PLASTIC. Need to get a liscene plate frame. Money seems to be the biggest obstacle to furthering my Sioux fixation. Ahhh... Hockey will soon be here! -
Is it me or are the Sioux well represented (Greene-2/Commodore-1) in the penalty box in the first period tonight?!
-
That's one way of looking at it... Seems reminiscent (sp) of the Sioux 2004-2005 season, crummy penalties? Oh well, like Siouxmama already stated, Oilers goal! 2-2

Mako and those of his kind notwithstanding ... Major props to those that have put this site together, administer and take care of it for fans like us. You guys are indeed TRUE fans to have done this on your own for us to enjoy! I thank you deeply! I enjoy this site every day!

Very, very nice. I know you made the slide show but did you also take the photos for the slide show? Those are very cool! Good job!

Prp, What more is there to say. I'd just be repeating everyone else. You're a class act. My son thinks your great and he customized a player as you on the EA Sports NHL 2006 for the Detroit Red Wings! You'll always be around at our house now! God bless, God speed in everything that you do. You'll be missed but never forgotten!

Thanks to all for sharing your photos! What a great opportunity for those that could make it! The players and coaches on the team are very classy. Having the opportunity to meet the team at the Lefty, they gave their time to meet with my boys, very generous and friendly. Bumping my boys fists between periods, coming off the ice. Autographs at the hotel. Seeing the players smile the way they do and take the time for your photos is really something. I like TJ's smile, real and friendly. Your kids had to be flying after that (not to mention you parents... you know who I'm talking about ) I've seen athletes before not being too friendly, almost like they're being put out for having to be there. But not the Sioux. I think your photos are a fantastic way to cap off and remember the season, the players and the job they did! Go Sioux!!
