While I had questioned the leadership of the captains (specific to last night's game) Redwing 77 and Shep are correct. It was indeed a team issue. While captains are the leaders everyone must take responsibility for the loss. I believe that is very balanced fan thinking. We can pick apart everything we may want aout last night, but the better team won last night. Maine is indeed a high level/quality team. Lots of things must be improved for the Sioux to win tonight. I'm no expert so I won't spew any "armchair quarterback" (not sure of a "armchair" hockey reference) comments. I'm looking for a Sioux win tonight but it'll be tough. as I think most will agree. This weekend will be a good learning lesson fpr the team. I think the Sioux pick up from last night and this weekend (win or lose tonight) and improve and grow. Early in the season and the team will be there when it counts at the end of the season. Go Sioux! PS: Go TIGERS!!

Very uncharacteristic Sioux game. Always hurts to lose like that, especially at home. I'm probably the farthest thing from an expert but it seemed that some fundamentals were lost, too many penalties and not very disciplined at all. I expect that the boys will be ripped up one side and down the other by Coach Hakstol. I believe that tomorrow will bring a much more disciplined game and a stronger Sioux team. Let's go for the split (of course, what else can we go for). The better team obviously won tonight. We get back tomorrow. Early in the season. !@#!$ loss but I'm sure no one is throwing in the towel because of this game. Gotta love the Sioux win or lose. (Still am pissed about the loss though).
