I trust McMahon's source here, so it wasn't just reckless underage drinking from McKenna, appears to be a team/family gathering at a bar/restaurant
-
His mom was there. Some drunk idiot kept verbally harassing Gavin's mom, wouldn't go away. I don't condone the actions, but I understand why they occur. Allegedly, all of course

Carson Woodall (2006, Windsor Spitfires) commits to Boston College. Greg Brown figured out he needs recruit more Canadian CHLers, very nice addition for the Eagles.
-
There's no clear favorite this year IMHO. I guess you could say Michigan State if they all play up to their capable ceiling, but I'll believe it when I see it in the tournament. Really interested to see who gets hot at the right time, who gets the bounces, etc.
-
Just a weird tribalistic award IMHO
-
East Coast only, yes. I'm actually surprised that some Minnesotans haven't come up with an award for the best Minnesotan NCAA D1 player
-
It's still so crazy how Bryn Chyzyk (along with Dane Jackson & the staff) has turned this program around from staring at a Wisconsin esque abyss back into a National Championship contender, with potentially a 2-3 year plus window to realistically win it.
-
It's 50/50 between Eiserman and Boisvert. They've also been equally underwhelming relative to expectations. Hutson is really putting the team on his back every night
-
Silent commits to North Dakota or just silent commits to NCAA programs in general?

2025-26 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
nascar99 replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
Personally, I think the Frozen Four should rotate between core hockey footprint cities/metros Boston, St Paul, & Detroit, a warm weather location (ones you've mentioned & others), and then a rotating site (Chicago, Denver, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York, Washington DC) that make some geographic sense -
Going to fill Wiebe's spot/role very well!
-
The crazy thing for Boston University is that the only guy that is ready for pro right now is Cole Hutson and they only have one senior (our old friend Owen McLaughlin), meaning they might not have enough natural departures to make room for their recruits like Malholtra, Shilov, Norringer, Glance, etc. This makes me think we'll have some turn pro who probably aren't fully ready (Eiserman, Boisvert, Harvey) and/or multiple portal departures. Pandolfo has his work cut out for him. 3 straight Frozen Fours, no National Championships, and now a disaster likely tournament miss season. Naurato and Michigan turned it around after 3 straight Frozen Fours, no National Championships, & then a disappointing tournament miss season, we'll see if Pandolfo and Boston University can do the same next year
-
He thought he was joining a stacked team, most of us would have believed him preseason. Turns out that Hutson is the only elite player on that roster and everyone is too young and/or underwhelming.
-
He's looking like the low floor version of himself right now. Not good
-
Idk what the deal is with Boisvert, doesn't look like a high end player for Boston University. More often just looks like a forechecker with some skill
-
Terriers and Huskies trade goals, now 2-1 Northeastern
-
Northeastern up 1-0 on Boston University after 1. Dylan Hryckowian with a goal, he's been very good for the Huskies every year he's been there. Wouldn't be surprised to see him sign in Dallas, considering his brother Justin is there

Is Zmolek eligible to apply for a 2nd medical redshirt (played 1 game last season)? Wondering if he'd wanna play a 5th year or if he'll be done after this season -
I wouldn't be surprised to see DuPont play one more year in the Dub and then play his D+1 in the NCAA. But I could be wrong. Wonder how many schools he's considering. Would think Denver, Michigan, and North Dakota are near the top, plus maybe Michigan State & Penn State
-
St Cloud State is not good, Miami is pretty decent. Give a lot of credit to Noreen with his recruiting and portal additions
-
Fair, I'm just bitter after they won the Penrose in 2024 and then they let their foot off the gas, lost a 1 seed, got a brutal 1st round tournament matchup and lost
-
Do we care about the Penrose at all? I'd prefer Frozen Four appearance and National Championship win

Wisconsin with the saddest showing you'll see from a supposedly decent team. At least when they were bad with Granato, you knew it would be bad. Hastings will need to adjust & go full Minnesota State with his roster construction, or actually go out and get high end talent. You're Wisconsin FFS. But I guess it doesn't matter to them when Alvarez and now McIntosh haven't cared about hockey, sad
