I don't know what part of Fantasy Island Kupzilla has been living on, but as long as I have been attending Sioux Hockey games, the Student section has been the heart and soul of getting the players fired up! I totally agree with putting the SS behind the offensive goal. The atmosphere at the Ralph has been morgue-like for too long

My question to NDSU students: How do you get to class on time with all those cattle milling about???

Like I said before the regionals, the Sioux WILL beat the goofies in the semi's (because, after all we ARE the better team) and will get sweet revenge by beating (and I do mean BEAT) Denver for the National Title. Just like in 1982 when we got revenge on the BADgers!!!! Goooooooooo Sioux!!!!

I can see how this is all going to come together....the Sioux win out at regionals, totally dominate the gophers because we are now a better team. Beat Denver in the Frozen Four for the National Title - just like in 82 against Wisconsin...GO SIOUX!!!

The key to this week-end, and here on out for that matter, is mental toughness. I believe that Hak is doing an exellent job in this area. The mentality for the D corps should be "search and destroy" mode...make them pay for coming into our end of the rink. Goooo Sioux!!!!!

I have had the good fortune to follow Fighting Sioux Hockey since November, 1964. My most earliest memory is seeing Wolverine blood on the ice at the old Barn, on a Saturday night. That was the good ole days when I believe Michigan was still in our conference. I also remember watching playoff games in the spring, and because it was so warm outside, there would be a fog on the ice and the players would look like ghosts skating in and out of the fog. There was something about it being 10 degrees outside, and 20 below inside the barn that made watching a game so special...I also miss the hot Dr. Pepper they used serve in an 8 oz. styrofoam cup with a lemon on the side. I am grateful to be able to follow the tradition of Fighting Sioux Hockey

Let's face it...Johnson is a North Dakota boy and this is where his heart is. If he wants to come home, he will make it work if the opportunity presents itself. I wish him well.
