Vote for higher education budget cut ridiculous

Higher education funding cuts approved in North Dakota House Maybe we could take 2 minutes away from the nickname issue and focus on an issue a little more pertinent to the university as a whole. It would be great if North Dakota residents would contact their legislators and tell them to properly fund our higher education system.

Sioux host Bemidji State in WCHA first round Not only are the ladies ranked #8 in the nation right now, but they sit in the #8 spot in the pairwise. Barring any big upsets in the conference tournaments, UND would be the eighth and final team into the NCAA tournament. But the ladies still need a good showing in the WCHA tourney to help hold that spot. The ladies are 2-1-1 against BSU this season. The first meeting of the season was back in November in Bemidji. The ladies lost 1-2 and tied 1-1 without the Lamoureux sisters in the lineup. The Sioux swept the Beavers in Roseau/Grand Forks in January 5-2 and 6-2. Of note, BSU finished in 5th place last year also and went to fourth place SCSU and upset them to make it to the WCHA's Final Face-Off. Let's make sure that doesn't happen again.

Just the other weekend there was a middleaged gentleman walking around the Ralph wearing a headdress and bangin on a drum. He was up in section 310/311 and was banging on his stupid drum throughout the game. I was extremely surprised that the Ralph let him in the door with the headdress.

The Sioux are: 40-18 All Time against UNC and 11-13 in Greeley UNC won the last meeting 70-63 on Nov. 27, 2009.

Would anyone happen to have a 2001 Albany Frozen Four pin they would be willing to sell for a few bucks? That is the one Frozen Four that I have been to but don't have a pin for and I have never found one online. Since this thread is going, I would also be interested in DVDs of the 2001 and 2003 football playoffs and Championship games. If so, just shoot me a PM.

UND's Lamoureux twins as good as advertised

The last 5 minutes of the game they completely got away from their offense, started playing very sloppy and were playing out of control. The game was looking very similar to the Utah Valley game. To me, that was an ugly finish. I have been more than supportive of this team and I can appreciate that this was a good win for the team. That first half come back to tie it going into halftime was very exciting to watch. I loved seeing Faison pumping his fist on the sideline as the half finished. But I am also not coach Jones' wife and can look at this team objectively enough to see that wasn't a good last 5 minutes of the game. Sad that you get mad at anyone who doesn't have a man crush on Jones or the players.
