Plenty of game left so I agree, let's not get on the ledge yet. But I have to say that one of my biggest concerns about this coaching staff is their lack of in-game adjustments or not making adjustments that are even worse. But yes, very early in the game, the defense may still step up.

Offense goes 3-and-out being just inchest short on 3rd down. Defense stepped up and forced it's own 3-&-out. 2nd offensive possesion of the day.

The MSU announcers have already referred to us as North Dakota STATE and the game hasn't even started yet. I guess it is going to take a while for us to settle into the Big Sky and have people get used to us being a conference member. I had picture and no sounds for quite a while but the sound has finally come in once the TV broadcast started. I think for a while they must have just had their video board feed showing on the webcast.

How amazing would it be to buy one of the giant Sioux head signs from off of one of the REA pillars? I would pay a pretty pennty for one of those.

They are attempting to fill the entire lower bowl and break the attendance record at tomorrow's game. $1 gets you in the door, and that is if you aren't a Champions Club member who always gets in free. Hopefully there will be a good crowd to watch the ladies sweep the goofs this weekend.

After losing to Ohio State 3-5 yesterday, the ladies rebounded to get a 2-0 shutout this afternoon. The final SOG were 36-12. I'll take that any and every day. If they can keep that up, they should do pretty well this season!

NAU was pinned at the 1 and so far has marched down the field pretty easy. When you have them at 3rd and 17 you absolutely cannot give up a play that big. NAU looking at going for it on 4th and 1.

I was at work so I had to DVR the game. Just finally got caught up to live TV by fastforwarding through it. A few observations: Both teams have taken some stupid penalties. NAU took a few that let a UND drive continue. And doing a throat cutting motion after a touchdown is just flat out STUPID. We also know that refs are really looking to protect players, so they will call a late hit more often than not along the sidelines. Our D really needs to step up in this 4th quarter. I don't feel good about a shootout right now. Have we forced a single 3-&-out today?
